HJC/CKX Electric Shield-No Lines Clear - HJC01EC

This fit my older CKX helmet perfectly, works well.

This shield will not fit either the Gmax adult XL helmet or the CKX adult XL helmet. My husband did fabricate it my using a grinding bit on the drill to bore out the holes so it would fit in place of my old shield since we didn't have time to waste returning it. If you don't mind taking the time to enlarge the holes on the sides of the shield to make this fit it will work. If you want to just pop it on and go and have either of those brand of helmets in XL this is not the product for you because it is not universal fit.

This item has gone through a running change and the manufacturer no longer includes the controller as it is not needed. Instead the new cord should work just fine.

Did not fit my CL-10 HJC helmet because it doesn't have the ratchet feature built in. Also, the plug sticks out at 90 deg. to your temple instead of parallel like an original HJC sheild. I returned it.

Since I have a relatively older helmet I was concerned the shield ordered would not work. However, i was able to make a minor adjustment and get the piece on the helmet. Everything came as promised. Thanks!
