Easy installation, good product.
It works like it is supposed to. I use it as an extra cable source anyways for PIP on my projector. The remote works well, but must does not have great range. For the price though it is working well. The software is nothing special and could use some more detailed recording options, but it works with WMC and also comes with Powerdirector so overall it is fine.

It works! Plays and records TV, very easy to set up
We don't own a TV, so I got this to watch local channels, and am pleasantly surprised that this actually works. My main concern was figuring out the software, but turns out the Windows Media Player is completely happy to use it. I'm in SE Portland, and the antenna gets me all the two local channels I really wanted (OPB and Root Sports), plus a bunch of others that are good for morning news and stuff. Overall it was really easy to set up. From out of the box to watching TV it took maybe 10 minutes, most of it reading the instructions to make sure I'm doing everything right.A few things to note:-sometimes the quality of the video is a little choppy. It can be uncomfortable, especially if you're watching fast-moving sports - feels like it's stop motion animation. Thankfully that usually only lasts for a few minutes at a time. The audio is always fine, but the picture pauses for a quick moment, and then speeds up to catch up to real time.-the antenna has a magnetic bottom, which is awesome. I can stick it on my fridge high up, and it gets great reception.-I've experienced mild moodiness with reception. Moving the laptop and/or antenna can cause me to lose reception for a couple seconds. Doesn't happen all the time.Overall, this works for what I wanted, and I'm happy with it. I can finally watch those away Portland Timbers matches that don't get streamed on ESPN or Fox. Although, did I enjoy doing that this particular season? No.

KWorld Hybrid TV Tuner with FM Reception
Wasn't very pleased at all with this tuner. It had a lot of trouble programming TV channels and it locked up many times from just changing channels. Tried it on different computers and operating systems and it worked just as poorly on them.

Good hardware, terrible software
I live in SF bay area. It gets nearly 40 channels which includes NBC and ABC. But I'm thinking of buying a more powerful antenna for it to see if I can receive the channels more stable.It supports full hd (1080i) picture and Dolby audio and pretty much all possible TV and radio systems.Generally the hardware is fine, but the software that comes with it is terrible. It's driver has a bug. It works ok on 32 bit windows, but causes some problem on 64 bit windows. Although I found a way to fix the bug and I let them know but I don't know if they have fixed it on their website or not. So beware!Also I couldn't get the remote control work.Specifications:Audio/Video Input{(S-Video Input: 4-Pin Mini Din)(Video Input: RCA Jack)(Audio Input: RCA Jack L/R)}FM Radio Input{(FM Input: NTSC)(Frequency: 87.50 - 108.00 MHz)}Analog TV System{(Frequency: 55.25 - 855.25 MHz for NTSC, 48.25 - 863.25 MHz for PAL)(Video: NTSC M/J, PAL BG/DK/I, PAL M/N, SECAM BG/DK, SECAM L/L')(Audio: Stereo,SAP(BTSC, EIAJ, NICAM,),Mono, FM)}Digital TV System{(Frequency: Terrestrial digital channels (ATSC 8VSB), Digital cable (clear QAM))(Video: Free-to-air digital 8 bits Vestigial, Side-Band Demodulation (8VSB), Digital cable TV (64QAM and 256QAM))(Audio: Dolby Digital AC3 audio output)}

I really like this one
I wanted to watch the TV on my laptop, so I purchased this Kworld USB-TV Tunner UB 445-U2 to try.I really like this one. It is easy to install, easy to configure, and easy to use.It works great with my Windows 7 64-bit Pro.I watched the NFL playoffs via this 445-U2, the HDTV quality is pretty clear and good, no any delay and blur.Highly recommend this one.

If it holds up, it's a steal.
Works wonderfully well. It replaced an old tuner of the no-name variety. Media Center does react a little differently to it, though you might have no way of knowing that, and while I'm on the subject, I found out the hard way that you apparently can't hook two tuners of the same variety to Media Center, so if you want to receive cable and over-the-air together, best buy two different brands. Nevertheless, for the money, about what I paid for my old tuner of four years, KWorld is far superior. Just be careful because it sticks out of the computer a bit more than you might like.

Great product, but overheats!
So overall I think it is a good product for the money. When I started using it to record formula 1 races, I found out quickly that there was a problem. It would only record 1/4 - 1/2 of the program and then the kworld tv tuner would quit working. It was very disappointing. However I discovered that when the tuner is recording a program, it gets very hot. This is the only major flaw with the tuner. IT OVERHEATS!! However I found a solution. Invest in a small fan to blow cool air onto the device while it's plugged in. Just doing this simple thing has made it work perfectly. So what I'm saying is, the product works exactly as it should, and I'm very happy, as long as it stays cool while plugged in. That's why I gave it 4 stars. If the overheating issue were not an issue, I would give it 5 stars. It does come with a lot of unnecessary stuff. I just needed the tuner, not the software, tv remote, or antenna. I use windows media center on my Toshiba windows 7 computer and it makes recording a breeze. So would I recommend? Yes, just know it gets hot and won't record properly if not cooled down.
