Good product
Overall the product is working fine but the filtered water delivery is very very slow unlike the waste water which is very fast. It needs a booster pump may be.

From 480 tds to 000 after adding the deionization filter. I was amazed. Although the sediment filter might not even reach 3 months before it will need replacement. The only cons with this system is the amount of pure water you can collect. Ratio of waste to pure water is most likely 10:1 instead of 4:1 edit: after only 2 weeks of used, TDS is raising. I am getting around 28 now from 0 two weeks ago. I will add another 10 inch sediment filter before the system. Maybe it will help and reduce the load especially for the first sediment filter which already turns muddy after only a week of used. I will update again after adding the 10 inch sediment filter with 1 micron filter cartridge.

I have just installed it two days ago. It is very easy to install, it came with everything I need, even with the ¼” tube which the Product Description said I must supply, which is a pleasant surprise. I use it as a countertop drinking system and I made a vertical mounting bracket and let it stand beside my kitchen sink (see pictures). I use my existing faucet diverter and connect the ¼” tube to the input of the filter, and let the waste water tube drain directly into the sink, while let the clean water tube dripping into my water kettle. Whenever I need water, I just turn on the tab and 15 minutes later I have my 2L jug filled. Overall I am very happy with the clean water tasting (much better compared to my previous APEX countertop filer), but the output is only about 25GPD (about 4L per hour) as half of what is advertised.

LOVE THIS! My wife and I’s only regret is that we didn’t buy it earlier. We were spending a mini fortune on bottled water. The output water tastes great to me - much better than the city tap water that we have going into it. I also have been using it as the main source of water for my espresso machine, and am now without concern of hard water buildup. Highly recommend!

I'll start with the pro's first. The RO Buddie is lightweight and easy to install, it came with everything I needed to get started. Most importantly the performance for removing solids is great! I live on a farm with well water and I went from 860ppm to 0ppm. Literally 0. I was shocked it got it that low. Now onto the Cons. Keep in mind that some of the Cons are inherent to all RO systems. First off, you'll most likely get no where near 50 gallons per day. I'll be very very lucky to get 15 gallons in a 24 hr period. The way RO systems are rated for a certain GPD (in this case, 50gpd) is the input water has to have at least 60 psi and be at a temperature of 77 degrees Fahrenheit. (My guess is your initial TDS needs to be lower than 860ppm too.) I live in Canada and My water is about 9 Celsius (48F). That really impeads the performance. I think my water pressure in the house is around 55psi (although in my pumphouse it is reading 65psi) This impeads output as well. Another big con (the biggest for me) is the waste water. The 3:1 ratio isn't even close. For every 2.5 gallons I'm filling up my washing machine with waste water. And it's 35 gallons or more. It's extremely wasteful if you don't have optimum conditions for your input water. I do plan on getting a booster pump for it that should really help the output but that's an upgrade I didn't want to pay for so soon and when you add that cost you are getting closer to the price of an all in one system found on Amazon.

I can't get this thing to work. I've tried so many things to make it not leak but it leaks at the main insert and nothing i do makes a difference. Faulty product.
