I have been using this product on my AC drain for 2 years and so far no issues! Easy just drop down the drain and done!

Unlike some of the gel tablets, these pills are more like chlorine. Instead of putting them down into the pan where they'd stay wet all the time, I have started to stack these in a removable cap on the drain pipe. That way only the bottommost pill gets wet. It's much easier to replace the stack of pills by removing a PVC cap then it is to open up the AC unit to get to the drain pan.
