They work and well but make sure you wire is thin not thick
Disliked only one thing you can not use thick wire with these connectors, must use thin wire.

Simple easy design
These are a super simple way to attach your lighting system to a standard two wire cable. The problem with the design is that it's hard to tell if connection with the actual copper wire inside the covering has been contacted. I installed eight lights (2 wire per light for 16 total installs) on 100-ft strand, and on 10 of 16 I had to make several attempts to get the pin to make contact with the covered copper line. However, with a little patience and a pair of cheap reading glasses from Wal-Mart I got the process down. They're installed, had two 2" downpour storms and not even a flicker.I'd highly recommend these, inspite of the challenge. That could just be my learning curve though.

Worse ever
The piercing end is useable, the other end is prehistoric. My cat could have design this other end better even if the cat was high.Perhaps you have to be high to think it’s OK junk item

Terrible connectors almost impossible to install
These are really bad. Spent an hour trying to get the threads to start but gave up. Need to something that works.
