Using it to make Vitamin D mushrooms
This was super stressful at first, I'm not going to lie, because I have NO experience with UVB lights. I had to Youtube how to even 'plug' the light in (you twist it). Didn't know how far to twist it--that took some careful effort (don't break the bulb!)The cord didn't fit into the socket of the fixture very well and was also stressful, but I finally got it plugged in.It also took me a while to figure out which light to buy.Now that I have it up and running, my mushrooms are being UVB'd as I type! Very excited to use this light to get Vitamin D mushrooms. I researched extensively, and this was the smallest, most compact method to UVB my mushrooms I could find. I'm just keeping it in a drawer, and when I need to put my mushrooms under it for five minutes, I am balancing it on edge of tissue boxes over the tray of mushrooms. Easy!

Exactly what I wanted!
This is exactly what I wanted for my juvenile ball pythons enclosure. It works perfectly with the 12 inch UVB 5.0 bulb I bought.

Great for your bearded dragon setups
Comes with hardware, so you have multiple ways to mount the fixture.

A bit overpriced but, it does the job
I was in the market for Arcadia’s very similar looking t5 lamp housing when I came across this product. The Arcadia fixture will take higher voltage tubes than this one will but is visually very similar. However, Arcadia’s 12” fixture is actually extruded aluminum while this one is too light to be metal and actually only painted plastic. I found an Alibaba listing and Facebook ads for what I believe to be this exact fixture for as little as $15 per fixture. So, you are paying a bit more to have a US seller and someone to call is something arrives DOA.So, you can spend $60 plus shipping on Arcadia’s (if you can find it in stock somewhere) and can then use a wider range of higher output bulbs. You can spend $15 including shipping from China and get what I believe is likely the sale product as Carolina is selling—but without any sort of recourse if there is a problem OR buy this one.(Also, Carolina must have gotten quite a few complaints from folks that couldn’t figure out that the reflector was shipped with a blur film that needed to be removed because the fixture ships with not one or two but three noticed to remove the blue film before using the light)

Very sturdy and just the right size for me.
Using this fixture for my leopard gecko enclosure. There is a uvb bulb in it and it spans the top quarter section of her Exo-Terra 18”x18”x24” enclosure perfectly. Gives her the uvb she needs in the early morning before she sleeps, and early evenings when she wakes.

No light bulb
This product does not include a light bulb. It is deceiving to include the bulb in the picture. Many other fixtures include the bulb. I can't tell how this preforms because now I have to wait for the bulb to arrive.Update: this lasted 4 months and has gone out. Tested with another bulb and in another outlet. I would not recommend this product.
