ORGANIC Kojic Acid+Glutathione Skin Brightening Scrub Soap spf15

I love this soap- amazing rich lather and it does lighten and even out your complexion and reduce hyper pigmentation while moisturizing and hydrating your skin... You get super clean and it does what it claims. The snail mucin in the soap is something I would not have imagined but it really has made a huge difference to my skin.

My first attempt with this soap didn't produce favorable results. The lather wasn't nearly what it should have been and my face didn't feel any different than it would with any other soap. Then I realized that's what the little mesh bag is for. Put the bar of soap in it that you intend to use and lather it in your hands. I don't know why the bag makes a difference but it does. Once you get a good lather, then put it on your face and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Honestly, I don't know about brightening, but my face feels cleaner and softer. The cost is pretty reasonable for 2 bars, and it keeps my face feeling clean and moisturized, so I'd say it's a good value for the money.

I usually don’t like soap bars for my face. But I thought I would give this a chance. It has a very light scent but nothing too overwhelming which I really appreciate. At first I had a hard time lathering the product. When it’s brand new it’s kind a hard to get some foaming action. But as I used it a few times more, I did get a few bubbles out of it. It is OK at removing make up. But I rather use micellar water to remove my make up. I wouldn’t say that it left my skin is super hydrated. But it didn’t feel tight or uncomfortable either. It did brighten my skin just a bit. But nothing significant. I can still see some of my dark spots or acne scars. I also noticed that it didn’t last long. So overall it’s OK. I wasn’t really blown away by this product.

First off, I love the list of ingredients, it’s is what made me want to try it. And it goes downhill from there. While everyone says it lathers well, it really doesn’t. Yes it lathers with the bag it comes in or any wash cloth. But what they don’t say, to fully cover your body you will have to repeatedly lather at least 7 times. Most soaps I’ve tried it takes 2 at most. When I think of lather, a soap should be able to lather with or without a wash cloth or loofah. Using this soap directly on my skin without use of a wash cloth or loofah it doesn’t lather at all. The only way it does start to lather on my skin is if I used a soap to wash of any dirt and oil before using this soap. The scrub part? I took a picture of the soap after the second use. It has one grain of sand left. And that’s the end of its “scrub” life. And the scrub part is on this site and on its box, I would’ve thought it would be throughout the soap so I can at least use this as a soapy exfoliator, but no. For me, it’s a no for use on my body as without the scrub or the lather…..so it’s limited use down to my face only. I prefer to use a foaming or cream soap for my face, but this is a decent replacement if I decided to go with a bar. 2 stars

Even though the soaps were on the smaller side. It does it’s job. It has no scent however, you can see some difference within a week.

I typically buy Kojic Acid soap from the Asain store. Those typically work pretty well, but you have to use them daily to keep up the effects. Kojic Acid brightens skin naturally and can improve the appearance of uneven skin tone and dark marks. These soaps are beautiful in color and shape. They take a while to lather, but do make a light foam easily. to use: Gently massage onto face using small circular motions, allowing the lather to remain on the face for one to two minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and gently pat skin dry. Doing this removes any leftover makeup without the harshness of scrubbing and allows the acid time to work its magic. This soap does leave my skin a little tight after rinsing but not dry and peeling. I started rinsing with cool water and quickly saw that my skin no longer felt tight. Skin tone is definitely evening out and I have not experienced any breakouts or flakiness. I do have sensitive skin and have done fine with this soap when I leave it on for just a few minutes. Leaving the foam on too long is not a good idea (I have done this with other Kojic Acid soaps and have gotten a "burn" from the acids.) The 2 bars come in a little mesh bag, both packaged in a single cardboard box. The reason I have been moving from liquid facial wash is that I want to reduce my single-use plastic consumption. I could do without the mesh bag, but the packaging and the soaps are nice enough to give as a gift. Hope you found this review helpful!

Broke out in bad skin acne

Has helped lighten pigmentation on my skin and doesn’t dry my skin. Can noticed it’s brightened my complexion and even out skin tone!!!

I have sensitive skin and this soap works. It doesnt dry my skin and complextion is becoming more even too.

When used with the mesh bag, this soap foams nicely and I can see a difference in my skin texture, tone and colouring within the first week of use. It’s faded the freckles on my arms because I was using the excess foam on my loofa for them as well. I wasn’t expecting it to work that fast.
