My wife and I are in a condo temporarily and wanted a grill because our unit is only equipped with an electric stove and non-existing exhaust. Cooking meats smells up the place, so I wanted to get a small grill to cook just outside the garage. I thought I would spend an extra $100 and get this cute little retro-looking unit and give it to our daughter when she and her husband eventually have their outdoor space. This is a high quality unit that feels like a Honda or Toyota compared to the cheap grills available at the big box stores. It’s compact but holds a full size fuel can. It’s on four caster wheels and easily stores on the back side of our two car garage and allows me to get through to the driver door of my truck. What’s even better is their customer service. The door and base were dented in shipment (directly from the manufacturer). Our street was being resealed and the UPS guy actually carried the unit into the condo development where I assume he set it down hard from exhaustion (but it could have been damaged anywhere). I emailed on a Friday and received a response on Monday to send them a screenshot of my Amazon receipt. I received the new parts in about 5 days. The assembly instructions are excellent and they have all the nuts and machine screws separated and labeled in a easy-to-open package. This is a two burner grill, but it is plenty large to cook for 4-5 people in a pinch. But most of the time it’s just two of us, which makes it perfect. Since it is smaller, it gets up to temperature quickly and has even heat disbursement. All-in-all Permasteel makes a great compact grill. The larger 4-burner units are even hotter looking (pun intended) with more colors. I will definitely consider one of those when we are permanently settled.

From a manufacturing engineering point of view I'm pleasantly surprised how well all the parts fit together. The door mount requires the factory to control hinge points over three sections of grill base, yet the door mounted square up and even gap all around. The assembly directions need some bigger pictures, and a better detail of how the rear brace is to be mounted, pick the wrong set of holes and the grease catcher won't slide into place. Up to temp quick, and 450 degrees for a nice initial sear is no problem. Dial back the heat and it drops down to about 330 for a thorough cook without burning the meat exterior. Also cooks evenly which is shocking for a two burner gas grill. I'm very pleased and will have a fun summer of grilling when they burn ban charcoal grills but gas grills A OK.

This was a gift to a relative who BBQ's a lot. After a year it continues to work perfectly. No burner burn-out or metal fatigue of any kind. A great product. Just bought a three burner version for myself Very easy to assemble. Temperature controls are set for accuracy and minimize use of propane. I love it.

I had high hopes for this barbecue, but it doesn’t get nearly as hot as I expected, which makes grilling a bit frustrating. To make matters worse, it arrived with a missing part, and customer service has been less than helpful. They promised to send the replacement, but I’m still waiting. On the plus side, it looks great—but for the price, I expected better performance and support.

Pretty easy to assemble. I didn't get to use it much till like 3 days after I put it together. Had to find the best deal on propane tank 🙂. I have used it 4 times and couldn't be happier. You can tell it's quality from day one. The wheels are great to, makes it easy to move. Definitely is worth every penny. The size is perfect for one person or a small family. Love the color too, just so happens to my favorite color.

Shipping box did not appear to be damaged. Open the box and found many of the parts and panels dented pretty bad. Reached out to the company Permasteel and got no response. No support and they obviously do not stand behind their product. This grill is made in CHINA, that was my first mistake. Right ignitor did not work as well.

The grill is great except I had one problem. There were 2 nicks in the warmer rack that one had started to rust already and the second was just a nick. I reported it to the company had to send receipt, picture of the grill and defect which is hard to do of the small rack. Because I did not have a good picture they have not replaced the defect part. Not happy

Read all the instructions and assembled as slow as I could go. It took 5 hours solo, but it will not fall apart and last at least 10 years easy. Bent items I took care of with a wrench and few mallet taps (no big deal). If you do not like assembling stuff, buy one at HDepot, assembled in a hurry. 10/10/23, tested w fat steaks, and excellent. Flame is blue (as it should be) almost invisible in daylight. Success!
