Q: Where can i find the 220v conversion tutorial? I found a an official foxalien video on youtube but I am not sure if it applies here too.

On the foxalien webpage they say to contact them before. The response times are super quick for my experience even if they're lacking in providing important information up front.

If you use Masuter or Masuter Pro, you can use the original spindle wire to connect. The short wire is for machine like 3018-SE.

Q: will this upgrade work on the 4040?

It can be used on the FoxAlien Masuter 4040 cnc router, not the 4040-XE.

Q: Will this wouk on yorahome 3018 pro and as a plug and play installation?

It is plug and play installation. That depends if yorahome 3018 has the same interface port as ours.

Description

This upgrade kit is designed for FoxAlien Mastuer Pro, Masuter 4040, and Masuter 3 CNC router machines. The 300W spindle can directly fit into the spindle clamp of 3018-SE V2. No need to interchange other clamp.
The default input voltage is 110V. The power supply output is 48V. The power supply is integrated into a control box, which is safer and easier to clean. (If you need to use in 220V, pls contact us).
It has a power switch and speed adjust button for convenient operation. Spindle speed can be adjusted manually.
300W spindle can handle hard material more easily such as aluminum and copper. It also improves working efficiency.
It comes with a 1/8” ER11 collet in the spindle.

Great upgrade

It is definitely a great upgrade to the 4040 cnc router. Much more power.

There is no such thing as too much power

My cnc comes stock with a 60 w spindle and i knew that would not be enough, so i upgraded. The 300 w spindle should be the stock spindle. I could see with a stepper upgrade wanting a beefier spendle. for any use other than butchering soft materials like foam the 300 watt spindle provides much better results. Either purchase the machine 300 w spindle or purchase the cnc and the spindle at the same time.

It is nice and rigid for stronger materials.

This spindle surprised me when it arrived, it came fully assembled in a new mount and carriage. I followed the great FoxAlien 300W spindle upgrade video on YouTube for easy plug and play wiring and ran this 3D pattern very easily. The spindle seems quieter than the original that came the my 3018 SE V1.
