Attractive, well made, work just as described, make a great bird deterrent, realistic looking to birds, heads swivel easily, very light weight, and they come with a capped hole in the bottom so you can mount it on a stick or fill it with sand/rocks to weigh it down. There is a little plastic part inside the capped hole at the bottom that you attach to the back of it's head so the wind can hit it and make the head move.

Love these owls! Love the look on them, light weight, but you are able to put sand in them to make them stay. The birds stop crapping in my yard, so it's a win for me

We were having pigeon problems in our back yard for months and couldn't find a solution until we tried these owls. They're super creepy looking but they work! For the price point, I'd say this was an easy solution to our bird poop problems. They do have a hole on the bottom that can be filled with sand or rocks to help weigh the owl down so it doesn't blow over and the clear fin on the back of their heads help them turn when wind hits it. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because one of the owls showed up without a beak and the plastic material these birds are made of might not last the whole summer here in AZ but we'll see. I'd still recommend for anyone with annoying bird friends in their backyard.

We bought 3 of these owls to scare squirrels off of our fence because the squirrels drive our dogs crazy. Well, the squirrels are not scared and walk right next to the fake owls on the fence. Doesn’t work! Looking at the more expensive owls with lighted eyes, noise & motion sensor.

Reasonable quality and reasonable price, but these owl decoys did not work to keep squirrels off of my deck. They may have worked the first couple of days (I'm not sure) but afterward, they went right up to the decoys, actually stood up and sniffed them, and then promptly ignored them. I have been told that for decoys like these to be effective, it is necessary to keep moving them around -- I don't know if that's true -- but even if it is, life is way too short. Your experience might be different, or perhaps they might be more effective with other creatures. I will likely donate to a thrift shop in the near future.
