This soap is great. It is a super economical alternative to more expensive brands I will allow to remain nameless -- looking at you "doctor". I cut it with water so it works well in a foaming pump type dispenser which extends the value even more. I use it at the kitchen sink to wash my hands when I don't need to use the far more harsh detergent to sanitize my hands. That bottle I just cut with water and use plain. I keep one in the shower that I like to add essential oils to like rosemary, lavender, peppermint and tea tree. It makes a great body wash and I also use it on my scalp and beard. Since you get to control the ingredients you can make it as strong or gentle as you like. No scent, customized scent through the use of essential oils, you are in control. I never feel like the soap dries my skin and it is far more gentile than using detergent all the time at the kitchen sink. Can I prove that? Yes I can. I've never had skin problems until suddenly one Autumn several years ago, and boy have my hands been mistreated over the years from work and rarely using hand lotion. My doctor told me I had dyshidrotic eczema and gave me a steroid cream to use. I found I could get by with half strength OTC meds but regardless it was taking a toll on my skin in its own way. Long story short I started reducing my exposure to the detergent at the kitchen sink by using the castile soap when possible and the problem disappeared.

Great product. Clean ingredients. I use it for my laundry and DIY body washes. It leave my clothes clean and fresh smelling. When used as a body wash, it cleans and does not strip my skin of its natural oils. I highly recommend this Castile soap.

This is a very nice quality castle soap! I ordered the Bergamot Lime, it has a fresh and bright citrus scent (a little more to the lime side). I really love it and wasn't totally sure about ordering it based on some of the reviews. Glad I did though! It is true that this soap thickens up in the cold temps, I got it this past December in the Northeast US (Winter), it arrived in freezing temps, the consistency was a thick peanut butter and a little cloudy, cream color. I placed the gallon jug 18" away from a radiator for a few days. (rotated and shook once). As it warmed up it tuned to a clear, light brown/olive color and became a pourable consistency. I squeeze it from a reused Mrs. Myers dish soup bottle as body wash (has stayed liquid in my shower for over a month now). Anyone that has had experience with good olive oil knows it solidify at refrigerator temps of 37 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit and coconut oils harden below 75 degrees F. All of this indicates a high quality natural soap NOT a bad or faulty product. I am very satisfied and highly recommend! Also, after researching Brittanie's Thyme I'm very happy to support a family owned business that makes their products and their own bottles in the USA.

I cook a lot and my hands no longer get super dry. I also love this soap because it does not clog my refillable soap dispensers. I also enjoy the scent.

This soap is great for hand soap I have been using other brands that do go a bit at higher priced but this is affordable and great thickness. Smell is good not too strong but leaves hand soft.
