Arrived broken
I have a real one and got this one to compare. It doesn't and can't be mounted since the u shaped mount arrived cracked.

Works to a point
It does capture some oil but not all. Better than not having one installed. Installation (hose hook up) was not easy due to needed hose sizes. This item is for use on a 2008 Dodge sprinter 3-liter diesel. Drainage of oil via the bottom of unit not practical as this end needs to be closed off during operation of the engine, and thus it up to you to achieve this. The unit came with a red shipping plug that I used with a clamp for a solution. Other internet users use a hose with a valve. I'm not a fan of this unit that said I was looking for a cheap solution. If price is not an issue, then do more research for better units. There is a newer unit available that has paper and wire filter.

This is a copy of the Mahle ProVent 200 and very poor copy at that. I would not waste my time buying this one. Buy the real one. It has one star as you cannot give it -5!

I couldn’t bring myself to install it on my diesel. The plastic was not finished well still had moulding remaining not smoothed. Didn’t trust it to install it.
