Deciding between the white set and the graphic design set.. any advice based on your experiences and purchases?

I like the graphic set because I could remember what was in what bag based on the graphic.

does the main zipper compartment (not the compression zipper) open on 3 sides so you can lay it flat to put clothes in?

Hi Vicki- I'm the seller for these. On the left side, the bag unzips about 1/3 of the way, on the top all the way, and then down the right side more than 2/3rds of the way. It does not open up completely like a clamshell, but it is quite easy to slide your clothes into the space remaining that isn't fully unzipped. This design is to make it easier for the bag to compress when the second zipper is used.

I already roll m clothes in ranger rolls. Are these sturdy enough to further compress the rolls or will this not work?

I rolled my clothes when using these packs and it worked great. Just don’t try and over stuff them.
