I’ve been using bait cast reel for better than 30 years. This little reel has kept up with the most expensive reels I own. I now have 3. You do have to keep the bearings lubricated. 1 drops for every 3 trips and it will cast very smoothly. Highly recommend if you are just starting out with bait casting, easy to use. I taught my 11 year old grandson in less than 30 minutes, now he doesn’t use his spincast.

Def way nice looking for the price. Good gear ratio.. i am having some sort of issue with the drag or spool tension i have to re adjust several times while out bank fishing for 1 hour.. seems good quality for the price.. but it reeled in a fish so it performs. Good palm size for me. Not too fast. We will see on the durability

As good as any reel costing 2-3 times as much. Carbon fiber body, 18 SS bearings, 20lb drag, and all brass gears. I bought one of these 5 years ago under the name Shishamo. I’ve been looking to find another one and came across it here under the brand name Fishdrops. Same reel, same box, same everything. I’m an avid bass fisherman and have dozens of Diawa, Lews, Abu Garcia, and Shimano reels that I paid over $150-$200 for and this reel is just as good quality wise. If I had to compare it to anything specific, I’d say it’s very similar to the BPS Johnny Morris Signature Series reel ($200). Don’t let the generic name fool you. This reel is solid as a tank. Be sure to lube the bearings when you get it.

I bought this Reel With no expectations and now that I have used it for an entire season I can honestly say I am more impressed with its performance than any other. I am a salt water angler off the Texas coast and this reel has been put to the test with several other competitors from the usual three on amazon up to a couple $200+ reels and this is what I have found: compared to the advanced drag and mag systems it has about 85-90 % casting distance (less than 1/2 ounce total weight ) other than that factor it has outlasted the big brands and has handled the bigger fish with the same action of the big brand names. great drag system, very durable bearings, and excellent spool tracking! mix all those things with a year of salt water and I could not have been happier with my 34 dollar purchase, its been almost a year and the reel sits on a $259 rod as my first string QB!

Omg, the smoothest, super fast retrieve and did I say awesome for the price. It matches my reels, that cost way more. This is my go to for long cast and top water lures. love the fast I was able to set the hook and hold a 6lbs wiper and yes we had him for dinner.. I won.
