I liked these owls. They are flat piece of good card stock paper and they do look real. But birds are smart and only stayed away for a few days. I took them down for a couple of days and glued some googley eyes on them before I put them back out in my garden and they sun would reflect off of the plastic eyes. I could see birds sitting on the fence nervously thinking about approaching the garden. I have one owl propped inside my tomato cage and this is the first year I have had tomatoes grow to full size with no damage from the birds. The owls are light weight and blow when the wind blows them so I like that they move around. They have a small bell attached to them. I don’t really hear the bells, but they give the owls a little weighted balance . They haven’t really faded or been damaged by light rain or heavy sun. Even though they look flimsy, they are well made.

Wish I could give these 0 stars because they do not work at all! Birds are definitely not scared of them. They will land right beside them and crap all over the place. They also do not withstand the weather outside. The owls quickly faded to an ugly blue color and now they don't work and they look ridiculous. We'll be taking them down to trash them sadly. What a waste of money.

they are exactly as advertised . the reason i give them a 3 star is they work wonderful for about 3 days and the birds figure them out and are not scared of them anymore

Mockingbird nesting season was exceptionally difficult for my Boykin Spaniel this year. The mockingjerks seemed to form a gang and went out of their way to dive-bomb him mid-“business,” would come from behind and buzz his tail, and even stalked him from the roof top and squawked at him when he looked outside. They followed him on every walk, even when we were far from whatever bushes/trees they seemed to have claimed as their own. I put the owls up and changed their location several times, and within a couple of days, no more mockingjerks.

Put them on my car windshield and they kept the birds away,

We had robins trying to nest under the awning over the front door. We tried flash tape, wind chimes, rubber snakes, and these. They were appealing since we didn’t have space under the awning to put up a life size owl. We hung up 2 and put 2 in the windows next to where the birds were nesting. These did not work at all; the robins would ignore them and build a nest anyway. Within 24 hours they were packed up and sent back. We ended up buying metal spikes and that’s what finally got rid of the robins.

I ordered these because we had a huge, 3 year long issue with the eastern bluebirds…. The males were CONSTANTLY tearing up my screens and attacking their reflections in the window, from sun up until sun down, all year long. I tried using scent repellants, turning interior lights off, scaring them… nothing was working. But I ordered these owls and stuck one in each of the windows they would go after, and it has finally stopped!

What was I thinking? You definitely get what you pay for with this product. The image printed on the cardboard cutouts is not very good. It does not look like what is advertised. They already looked like they had been bleached by the sun. Maybe the manufacturer thought pigeons have poor vision so these didn't need to be an outstanding representation of owls. I'm not sure, but I'm pretty certain I heard the pigeons roosting above our windows and pooping incessantly on our AC , laughing hysterically as I hung these "deterrents" in the vicinity of the offenders. The fake owls also came with a couple of long strips of silvery reflective material. Was this supposed to suggest the flat owls were festive and having a party? Are more owls coming? I don't know. There are no instructions as to their purpose or how to use it. Bottom line, these scared no one except a few dollars out of my bank account. I had better results playing the sounds of hawks which I found on YouTube, through my Bluetooth speaker. My opinion is it's definitely not worth the time or financial investment. You would do better dressed up as a giant owl. These are trash.

Realmente funciona!! No te quita el 100% de las visitas no deseadas pero las reduce bastante. Sin duda relación precio -efectividad estupendo
