In 1949, Mr. Kihachiro Onitsuka began his athletic footwear company (Onitsuka Co., Ltd.) by manufacturing basketball shoes out of his living room in Kobe, Japan. He chose the name ASICS for his company in 1977, based on a famous Latin phrase "Anima Sana In Corpore Sano," which, when translated, expresses the ancient ideal of "A Sound Mind in a Sound Body." Perfect as expected.
Shoes are perfect. Comfortable and the right size. Love the Asics Gel Cumulus 18. Nice arch and stable. Product arrived when stated.

These are great.
This style was perfect the minute I put them on. I walked 3 miles in them that day, and have continued with no problems. Very comfortable, and a nice color.

Great shoes
The shoe fits as expected, but I find that the heel pinches a bit. I have a pair of Gel Cumulus 15s that I loved so I wanted to try these. I love the appearance and I'm sure the heel will loosen with wear.

Love the color, shipping- hate the fit and cushioning
The shoe doesn't feel like it absorbs shock as good as my oldest pair of Cumulus 14's which i have to this day! Those were great. These are Meh! I I sized up because ASICs are never true to size at least from my experience. The toe area fits great, the back doesn't hug my foot and if I went smaller my toe area would have been small. Cannot win with ASICS. However shipping was great...delivered within 2 days! Thank you Amazon.

Very comfortable
I love the shoes they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned but they do run one full size too small. I always wear a 9 and a half medium and I bought a 10 and a half and that fit perfectly.

Love all of the Asics shoes and have many colors to match my t-shirts
I have a few pairs of the Asics shoes, and love them all. This pair is no exception. I have a few different colors, and really love the various color patterns. My husband laughs at me since I tend to match colors of my shoes to my t-shirts, Personally, I love the color coordination, and it makes me feel "dressed" even if I am wearing jeans and a t-shirt.Although I have bought a couple of pairs of the Asics shoes that cut on the bone above my big toe on one shoe, I have found that this is usually a defect of that particular shoe. I have replaced these with a different pair, and they have been fine. Since I have been introduced to the Asics shoes, I wouldn't buy any other brand.

Love them! My feet don't slide and my toes ...
Love them! My feet don't slide and my toes don't hurt anymore. I have plantar fasciitis and feet rotate out (underpronator) and these shoes fit so much better! I threw out all my old sneaks. My only complaint is that I just wish they made these in slip on style sneaks!

A little tight in the toe box
I love all of my Asics Running Shoes. I'm not a runner, I just happen to walk a lot and I'm on my feet a lot as well. I'm in healthcare so it happens. These shoes came in a bit tight in the toe box, it seems as they are stretching out as I wear them. So it shouldn't be a problem.They are cushy and they feel like your walking on clouds. This is why the Gel Cumulus happens to be my favorite of the Asics running shoes, this pair is my 4th pair over the years. I also wear other models of Asics to switch my shoes around.
