Time to replace with exact match
This was straight replacement for my motorhome. Two wire connections in same wall mount location. The alarm replaced was 4 years old and malfunctioning (alarm activation and difficult to reset). The replaced alarm was very sensitive to hair spray, antifreeze and cleaning product fumes. Replacement delivered on time and initialized according to the instructions provided.

My Airstream has been making a lot of noise lately, and I found out that the propane detector is the cause of the issue. These things last up to 5 years, so it's a good investment to have. This thing was basically plug-n-play and resolved my annoying beeping issue. Worth the money, and I can confirm it fits an Airstream Bambi.

Date of unit in good standing
Very easy change out of our defective unit into this replacement. comes with extra plates based on your mounting as it is. Seems these are dated for use, The old one was past that date before it started making noise. Keep them clean and dusted does make them last longer for sure.
