AA GKM3W Clip On UV,Black,1 Count (Pack of 1)

I can't say enough about this product! It has worked wonderfully to clear two fish tanks that were green with algae. It cleans the water. Also, you start to see the algae disappearing from heaters, air stone lines, seaweed (fake), rocks and driftwood. I got an inline-uv lightfilter. It didn't work as well. I am now purchasing my third clip on. They work great!No noise, typical pricing, size (about 4" l x 3" h x 4" base w/clip on), fits on my Tetra hang on (20gal) filter. Don't know lifespan yet. I even modified my small betta filter so that the clip works on it.

If you have a green algae problem this is whatchu need!!! No chemicals or water treatments etc, just this!! Simple and easy to use, take it out of the box and clip it on and plug it in, done. My tank water was so green you couldn't see half an inch inside, and even after reading reviews I was still skeptical, but just as those reviews claim, after 2 weeks I have crystal clear water!!! Definitely worth it!!

I’ve always used the AA green killing machine for awhile. Great to have for green algae defense.

Installed the unit on a 10 gallon tank and water started clearing up but after 5 days the water started getting greener again. After 7 days there isn't any improvement in water clarity. The green led is on so unit is functioning but the results seem to be going backwards to square one.

I was skeptical if a light could really clear up an algae bloom. Well it can! My first picture was day one of adding the uv light and second picture is from day 4. My only issue with the clip on is it kept coming off my filter. My filter has a tiny ledge to attach the uv light to. Not sure if other filters have a bigger grip area. Also, my aquarium cover is flat and I had to keep it sideways otherwise the uv light would fall off instantly. I recommend this for clearing up free algae blooms. Not sure if it works with algae that is attached to stuff. I still have the brown algae on some areas of my glass. Nothing that my itty bitty catfish can’t clean up.

We had horrible algae bloom for weeks. We tried several 90% water replacements, scrubbed all of the decor, replaced the filters, etc. only for the tank to be green within a couple days every time. We hooked up this UV clip after cleaning the tank again, and we haven't had any algae since! Been working for a couple weeks now, would definitely recommend.

This is the best product I've ever bought for my 30gl fish tank, took about 4 days and the water is completely clear, if you have green water this will surprisingly take care of it! A++

Product works but not easy to use in smaller tanks. It adds extra wires to tuck behind tank and makes cleaning a bit more difficult.
