Royal Sovereign 10,000 BTU, 3 in 1 Portable Air Conditioner (ARP-5010)

The unit is compact but cools down the room of 350 sqft fast enough. We used it while our main central AC was down. And we liked it.

I purchased this item, we had problems, we had three folks check it out, stopped working within 29 days. Seller would not allow me to return the item, they said it was over 30 days. Therefore, I went to the Manufacturer they said it had a 1 year warranty, howerver, I had to pay shipping costs.I spent $120 to ship this item back for repair. Unbelievable, an item within 30 days stopped working. Read the fine print with Amazon sellers. Be careful. I would never buy from this company.

The day I received the ac the first night it had to be drained. And it’s very messy, water got all over the floor while I tried to move it. Then I’m looking for a longer drain hose and of coarse it’s just a little numb. I tried to call amazon tech support and they tell me this product don’t have extra parts to help the situation. Now I’m aggravated and have no choice but to pick up the ac and dump the water in the bathtub. So the next morning I see the unit is on E2 again which means the tank is full again. Oh boy here I go again

This is a great unit! I have to admit I purchased it because it was the only one in it's power range that stated that it's cooling capacity was 450 sq. feet, that was not true. I believe a more accurate assessment would most likely be 350 ft instead.

Missing pieces

Worked great for a couple of months, then the water pump went out and now has to be drained daily. Not worth the price of the unit.

died in two weeks

Look at the average rating. I wish I had. Had ours for a whole month and it stopped working. The unit turns on and the compressor turns on but does not blow hot air. Reached out the company and now I have the ship the product to them (at my expense) then they fix it and send it back. I wish I would of kept my money instead.
