Works perfectly with OnePlus 8T
Works perfectly with OnePlus 8T for music and phone calls with volume controls. I was struggling to find one device that works for music as well as phone calls with volume controls on the earphone. I tried other two devices, none of them worked well for phone calls, besides volume control didn't work even for music, only pause button worked on them. One out of the others may have worked tad better for music listening but again every stated feature worked only on this device. I would say that the overall build appears delicate but the device comes with 12 month replacement warranty so, I'll take that as fair deal. My main need was long phone conversations, so far no static or any other disturbance, audio is clear with fully functioning volume controls on wired earphones. Since its new, I'll continue to use for some more time and update the review if performance degrade.

If $5 a no brainer. At $10 still a great buy!!!
I believe this chip only does 24/96 but for most phone use scenarios this is actually more than adequate. As far as power more than adequate for average IEMS. Not recommended for home or high impedance full size More voltage needed headphones. If you need a dac like this the build quality even though plastic is actually outstanding!!! The right angle is a huge safety Factor when plugging in your headphones I feel. I've always been a fan of right angle. And this thing sounds freaking great trust me I have Dap portable up to 6 -700 $ and portable dac up to $250. Has a built-in keychain loop which I recommend you just get a quick release clasp. If you need to take it and sound great and not be worried if you lose it and definitely won't damage it then this is an answer for you!!!

This solved a problem
I recently upgraded to a Samsung S21+ which does not have a tradional earphone jack port. This adapter allowed me to use my exosting headphones, including my Bose sound cancelling earbuds, with out sacrificing functionality for few $ compared to buying all new equipment.

loud as u will want
it produces the loudest and highest bass your speaker can handle, becausei t provides as much power as it can, it will drain your battery was all otg will. durable in a strange way. i have dropped my phone on the connecter and it in my pocket while working and had it bent the usb c connector, but if u push it in, it still works great, it might bug if it move it, but it work great still, i ended up buying a more flexible one so i can bend and work with in in my pocket and charge at the same time, but it in no way compares the sound quality, and on break and out of work i immediately switch to this one

Good for music / Bad for phone calls
First I'll cover the positives. The sound quality is good for music and video. I can't tell the difference with a phone that has a headphone jack. The build quality is ok. Its made out of a medium-hardness molded plastic (you can indent the plastic when you press on it with your finger nail). It feels sturdy, but I question its longevity. Still, I expect this to hold up better than a wired usb-c to 3.5mm adapter (those have a very high failure rate after only 1-3 months of use on average). Unfortunately, my product was deflective out of the box. It's advertised as compatible with the Galaxy S21. However, when making calls, the person on the other line hears themselves echo. I tested this with multiple callers. I also tested this with other compatible phones with same issue. It appears to be some issue with the internal circuit of my adapter. I'm giving them a second chance, and will report back on the replacement adapter when it arrives... -- Update1: I received the replacement device from amazon, and it works perfectly. I'm able to play music, watch videos, and take phone calls using a wired headset w/mic on my Samsung Galaxy S21. The sound quality is great, and no different than anything else I plug my headphones into (whether it be a phone with a built in jack, a nintendo switch, or my PC). Overall, this seems to be a good product, and works as advertised. -- Update2: After several months, the adapter continues to work well with Music, however when making phone calls, the person on the other line again hears either themselves or me echo. When I switch to Bluetooth, the issue goes away. Not sure what the issue is, but this adapter is NOT good for phone calls. -- Update3: The adapter now gets very hot with use (Galaxy S22). It continues to work, but is noticeably hot to the touch after 10 minutes of listening to music with the galaxy music app (not warm, but HOT).

Not working as advertised
For what I have been able to test in the last day (I received the adaptor yesterday), I am disappointed. I am using a Sony wired earbud set that includes a microphone and a on/off switch. I use the headphones to make phone calls with my cell phone. The sound quality is OK. I would not be able to tell and have not tested it with music. So, for my purposes, they sound fine. The switch to answer calls works. I can answer and hang up with the little switch on the headphone cable. What doesn't work is the microphone. People can't hear me when I talk. This makes the adaptor useless to me. I am returning it. I will ask for a replacement because it could be this one in particular. If so, I'll update the post. My review gives it a 3 because the sound and the switch work but the microphone doesn't.

Clear sound, nice form factor
Since nothing seems to have a headphone jack anymore, I had to get an adapter for my Galaxy S20. My previous choice had horrible hiss every time the onboard DAC turned on (or: whenever there was sound). That one went into the garbage. This adapter has no noticeable noise, is nice and compact, seems pretty durable, and (bonus) plugs in without having to remove the phone case. I like the right angle design so the headphone cord isn't sticking straight out. This one's a keeper.

I think it's a sturdy piece, my only problem with it is that sometimes I feel it heats up and becomes very warm to the touch. Soubd quality is good and I am happy with my purchase

Works perfectly in the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra although the phone can get quiet hot when it's plugged in for a while.

Don't know If this is just a faulty product but when you plug them in you have to fiddle around constantly to try and find a sweet spot otherwise you get constant static in the background whether audio is playing or not.
