I think the brush belt broke after few minutes of use. I noticed several comments regarding the poor quality belt used for this machine. Though the machine seems ok just to be fair.

it got burned after a few minutes of usage , and the smoke has coming out also ,more than that isn’t flexible to use it , I Don’t like it at all , The advertising totally different than really life unfortunately

This is only good for cleaning carpets

It worked well, for 5 minutes. After that I smelled burning from the vacuum. I noticed the brush had stopped rotating. I disassembled the brush and found that the rubber belt that powers it to turn was dry rotted and had snapped in half. The burning smell came from the rubber melting under the friction.As others have pointed out this carpet washer is poorly made, with low quality parts. It's not a matter of if one of these poorly made parts will fail, but when. For me it was within 5 minutes of the first use. You'd do well to avoid this product. I wish I had.
