Great Help With Air Quality
Had an air quality assessment done by a professional service. In the report I noticed that the technician used a device like this to measure air quality in all rooms. I decided to buy this device since it was the same brand. This is a less technical model but does measure suspended particulate matter and also CO2. Only difference was the more expensive model had data download capability and measured formaldehyde - not needed for my situation. Instructions easy to follow and meter easy to use and read. Very helpful to read that the steps I took had positive results and that I can continue to monitor my house myself!! Well worth the cost!!

Works well and accurately enough for my needs.
This seems to work. Don't know if it's super accurate, but it's accurate enough for my daily life uses. I've only used the small particulate counter so far ,and that is helpful.

I got it for general dust level detection as I have lung issues that big dust levels can worsen.
Good for diagnosing dust levels coming from outdoor sources, and from in house activities like sanding or cooking or running a poorly filtered vacuum cleaner or shop vac. It also easily gives a good asses ent of the function of filter fans or even a face mask with a little cleverness (I am a retired scientist with some background in dust measurements). The formaldehyde sensor is also very sensitive to other oxygen containing molecules, especially alcohols. It does an excellent job of discovering someone drinking wine in the house (or as a too sensitive Breathalyzer). Fun. And is thus also a good way to measure how long it takes for the air in your house takes to be replaced with outside air. The co2 sensor is fun. It nicely detects breathing people. I suspect it might indicate that a small group of people was "unhealthy" based upon the higher CO2 levels. A plus feature for shy people.Serving useful purposes to me and provides fun demonstrations on natural phenomena. The interference of alcohols with formaldehyde detection makes most random indications of formaldehyde will actually be alcohols. But it should be as indicated sensitive to formaldehyde. Its literature should discuss this.

Quality Device!
The Temtop Air Quality Monitor is a quality device. My wife has Eosinophilic asthma, which is rather rare, but besides coughing her sense of smell is off the charts. Everything with any type of odor is offensive to her. She uses the Monitor frequently and finds it very accurate. Even our 2017 Toyota is still off gassing from the interior products, the monitor showed that, and she now knows why she is coughing in the car. We leave the window open at night when the car is parked in the garage. The city we live in during winter has inversions and the monitor correctly shows the air quality accurately when the air changes because of the inversion.Great device, priced well for the quality and reliability of the device. Easy to figure out and use. It only comes with the USB cable for charging, which they say you can plug into your computer. If you use a wall charger for the USB cable, make sure that it is the correct charger & amp. rating for the device. Be nice if the manual went into this further, rather than just say plug into your computer USB port. I did and it caused my computer to go into "Safe Mode". I found a charger from an old Samsung tablet that had the correct ratings that we use now.Overall, very handy and accurate device to have on hand!

Great Air Quality Monitor and Customer Support
The media could not be loaded. Update: 10/11/2018So after Temtop contacted me about the issue they sent me a working air quality monitor. The unit works perfectly. I am extremely happy that the issue was resolved and the I am now able to test the CO2 in my house. Great customer service and quick to respond. I have uploaded the new video for reference on CO2 portion of the monitor.Original Post: 8/28/2018This is a great device, although; it does have some quality control issues. I have had the device for several months. I have tested the PM2.5/PM10 accuracy readings and the HCHO which are spot on. The issue I had was that the C02 reading never worked. I let it calibrate for 30 minutes outside, 3 hours outside, 30 minutes inside, and 3 hours inside. It never worked. This is why I deducted 2 stars since the C02 levels is quite important in determining a rooms air quality. I really like the design of the unit. The inner components are plastic while the outer are rubber for gripping. The unit has a usb charging port. The software has a easy to use navigation menu that is responsive. The graphs give live reading and indicate the air quality levels. Overall, this is a great air quality monitor with some minor quality control issues.Pro'sQualityDesignSoftware (user friendly navigation menu)AccaracyCon'sNone

Grossly inaccurate!
I purchased my first Tomtep M2000 (pictured on the right) and after noticing the HCHO value would never change from a 0.000 reading, I reached out to Amazon for a return. When the replacement showed up (pictured on the left), the HCHO worked but there was clearly huge discrepancies between the two meters. No matter how many times I tried recalibrating them, they each would show grossly different readings? Which one do you trust? Either one actually accurate? Obviously the CO2 readings were a little of a concern, so I asked a friend of mine whom is a licensed plumber, if he could perform a CO2 test in the same location. He came by, used his own certified equipment, and the results were 480ppm for CO2! No where near the two values the Tomtep units provided. I don’t know if I just got two bad units or what the deal is, but as it stands, these two units are not accurate, not to mention the one that doesn’t measure HCHO straight up defective. Oh and for those wondering, the time / date difference was due to the fact that I had set one, and not the other. Take what readings these unit give with a grain of salt.
