Updated Review (original title: Mismatch) - These nails have been great with my technique!
=== Updated Review - Oct 27, 2024 === TL;DR I found a technique that works for me. I hope it does for you as well. After discovering a technique that is working well for me I am now bumping this review to a 5 star product rating along with the following corrections: * These nails are 100% medium length. In my original review I claimed they were not and were instead long length. The mistake was entirely mine because over 2 years ago I was completely inexperienced with nails and knew barely a thing. Fast forward to today. These nails are definitely medium length. * These are pointy almond nails and I love them. I bought these over 2 years ago. At the time I was only just starting and experimenting doing my own nails at home. Since this time I have tried many different nail enhancements (full cover, half cover, true nail tips, builder gels, dip powders, polygel, nail forms and dual forms). My original problem despite any nail prep routine (as in, regardless of how good it was) these nails (and others) would just pop off within 2 days. After spending a lot of time learning and trying different types of products and techniques I have finally stumbled on an approach that work for these nails (and probably any other full cover nail product). This technique, which finally occurred to me 2 days ago that might work, is using adhesive tabs in a specific manner. In the past whenever I have tried this the tips stayed on for maybe a few hours at best when the adhesive tabs were applied directly to prepped natural nails. What I stumbled on that works far better than I thought it would is: 1. Apply a regular nail polish base coat (in my case, Sally Hansen's Double Duty) on my natural nails and let dry. 2. Apply a regular nail polish top coat x 2 (in my case, Seche Vite) and let dry. 3. Apply adhesive tabs on my nails. 4. Apply these full cover tips. 5. Apply desired nail color (in my case I just used regular polish, 3 layers, color here is LA Colors Color Craze "Wired" #424). 6. Apply regular nail polish top coat x 1 and cap the free edges. 7. Apply gel base coat and cure. 8. Apply gel top coat and cure and cap the free edges. 9. Apply a clear regular nail polish on the underside of my nails to seal any possible gaps between the nail tips and natural nails and let dry. This prevents any possible water from intruding between any gaps. In my case I needed two applications. With just this last approach alone these tips are holding on without any problem or movement. This includes washing my hands, taking showers and typing on keyboards using my nail tips instead of my finger pads. Currently as of this writing I am at a solid 2 full days of wear. Unfortunately tomorrow I need to change out my manicure for something that will work better for the coming week in a professional workplace setting so I will also update this review when I do remove these nails and what it took for me to do that safely. What I like about this approach is that the removal will be very easy due to just using adhesive tabs and there should be zero soak off. The worst case is that I might have to file the top coat off but I doubt it. It seems that the adhesive tabs adhere much, much better to a polish top coat product. I just do not know why this is the case but I am most definitely not complaining. I see no reason why removing steps 5 and 6 entirely if you are not going to use regular polish but want to use gel polish instead. In this case then insert after step 7 the desired gel polish color using the number of layers that you want for opacity. I just wish there was a size 00 for these nails because I have wider thumb nail beds. === Original Review === These are advertised as medium length. They are not and are long length. They do not last for long regardless of using adhesive tabs or even glue. I have gotten maybe 48 hours at best on these before they just start peeking up in either case.

Much larger than standard medium!
These are much larger than I realized, but that is my fault for not checking the measurements. The nails themselves are very nice. They are thick and seem very durable. I painted over them with gel polish before applying, and they looked really nice. The only issue is that because of their size, they all flicked off within a day from bumping into things. Great for beginners, or for people who can use really long nails. If you are familiar with the Kiss brand, these nails are like their Large size.

The BEST press on nails!
These work well and are the best if you have wide flat nail beds like me. I LOVE these and will buy again and again! They fit well and last long when I use acrylic over them since I am hard on my nails. They are also good to used alone also I just preferer to use acrylic over them. The sizes are great and fit great.

Runs small but great for my lil baby hands
I ordered the Oval, Round, and Square shapes and they arrived in great condition! They do run small but that's good for me because I have itty bitty hands and the 9 was *just* small enough for my pinkies. Do NOT use nail polish remover on them. I used acetone free remover to fix my paint job but it weakened the hard outer shell and made them very bendy. They're still usable but I certainly wouldn't recommend using polish remover on them again. If you buy multiple sets you can also do like I did and put all your usables in one box and non usables in the other (to donate or give to a friend or practice on) I would also recommend using stick tabs instead of glue so that when you make a really nice set, you can keep them and use them as many times as you want! You just need a tooth pick or something similar to push the glue tabs off when you're done wearing them

Long & very narrow. XS hands only!
I've been doing my own nails for about 6 years. I prefer acrylics because they stay on longer and can be trimmed easier. However I've been using a particular brand of soft gel tips because they fit my nails perfectly. However, I don't like them clear. With some polishes, they don't look real. I found these "medium almond" and thought I'd try. Pros: acrylic, easier to clip pr file. Stay on longer (2-3 weeks) and polish never chips. Natural color, which looks better polished than clear. CONS - and this is a BIG one. I wear an XS in women's gloves (or my kids gloves) and I'm Caucasian. The largest size fits my thumb. They would not fit most U.S. Citizens unless they have small hands like me. They are LONG not medium, and narrow. My cuticles are very rounded and my old brand fit perfectly with no filing or trimming necessary. I type all day. I had to clip all of these down and reshape them. Definitely not medium. And by the time I file them down, they look wide even though the width worked. I won't be buying these again and will probably have to go back to the soft gel that fit perfectly but are clear. Still looking. But if you do not have tiny hands, don't buy!
