These devices are well made (metal enclosures), reliable (with a caveat) little unit. The electronics inside do exactly as promised - convert SDI to HDMI. Never have to power cycle to make work. The just seem rock solid. The caveat: cheap, Chinese power adapters. Out of 10 purchased, I’ve had 2 fail within 9 months. Fortunately they are nothing special - 5.5OD, 2.1ID, 5v, 1A and replacements are easy to find.

I honestly don't know how this product has received 5 stars from other users. This is complete garbabe. I have tried to use the output on 2 different monitors and the resolution is not supported on either. One monitor is 1080p and the other is 1050. Neither monitor can read the output of this device, and it claims it can put a signal of 1080p out on HDMI. Complete false claim in description.

Great unit. Well built and a quality product

Unfurtunately only lasted for a couple of hours of use. We were using it to convert an SDI video switch output to a large Led Screen in a live video production and it burned and did not work anymore. You could tell by the smell.

Despite clearly saying it supports a 1080p/60 SDI feed this unit simply does not, I have to convert the signal down to 1080p/30 to get it to work. I also have to power cycle the unit once or twice a month.
