This matt and neck rest is really a life saver. Quality is perfect (one reviewer mentioned issue with glue ruining headstock - nonesense). There is zero trace of glue, or imperfection. So take that review with a grain of salt - perhaps they got a bad one. But as far as what I received, it was a huge help changing strings and cleaning my guitars. Really an extra pair of hands, and no longer fumbling my guitar, or putting any scratches on it. Highly recommend, and I think price is reasonable.

Decided to get myself a proper work mat and neck cradle for working on my guitars and this has been super helpful. The instrument stays put with the headstock elevated for easier string replacement and zero scratches. I like how the handy string winder/pin puller/string cutter tool makes work faster and easier. This is a really convenient little kit. Priced well. Works well on the acoustics I have been working on. I like the foam neck support. Not too soft, not too hard. Advice- Open winder plier handle all the way for speed winding. 1 Negative-ish pin puller is plastic, which is not always good. It won't scratch your bridge, which is nice, but if the pins are put in really tightly, it won't remove them. Overall review is this....I wish I had bought this years ago. It is really nice to have!

The matt and neck rest are A -1. Both are 'non slip'. Using these tools it makes changing strings or working on the guitar a breeze. I had to file down some frets and when I laid my guitar on the matt and neck rest, it stayed put. It is almost like having another set of hands vs chasing it around on a table or my lap. The matt holds tight and keeps the guitar from getting damaged due to slipping or falling off of the work area. The string winder tool is just a throw in and is not high end, but does work. Do yourself a favor and buy this set. It will make 'guitar life' much easier.

For the price, this is a no brainer for me. For changing strings, fretboard cleaning/polishing and small repairs, it’s a must for me. The neck cradle is dense but soft, and the mat feels quality enough for my monthly maintenance needs. The string winder it’s the highest quality, but I’ve also seen worse. Nice to have another one to assign to a guitar case. I am happy with my purchase. Recommended!!!
