Yes. They don't handle a lot of torque (they're tiny) but for lightweight designs they work the same as regular servos.

will these work for umx turbo timber?

I'm not sure. Turbo Timber uses a linear servo in wing, is it exactly the same, I'm not sure, but they are cheap[ enough to give it a try if you need one or both.

This is what I measured... Normal Range (1000us - 2000us pulse): 5mm Extended Range (700us-2300us pulse): 8mm And its max stroke is with the extended range, it does not go beyond that.
