Good Essential Fragrance Oils for Soap Making - Set of 6 Scents Apple Chocolate, Coconut French Vanilla, Peach Cupcake, Aromatherapy, Perfume, Candles, Slime, Lotions

Nice smells but sadly leaking when arrived so missing some liquid and a mess instead

I opted for this set of fragrance oils because I'm going to be teaching myself how to make candles (seems very straight forward, but I still wanted to get a "cheap" set of oils for my first batch). As far as the scents go, they're mostly good! The peach scent is DIVINE, and my first thought upon smelling it was peach soda. The apple and cupcake scents are pretty good too. The french vanilla is barely there, the coconut is fine, and the chocolate is meh. The box they were packaged in seemed damp and smelled like an amalgamation of all the scents -- with coconut being the predominant one. I'd assumed the coconut oil had popped open and soaked the box, but none of the seals were broken, and all the little vials were still closed. Oddly, all of the bottles were wet and had to be wiped down when I pulled them out, but I couldn't tell which oil it was that had apparently leaked, because the smells were all too strong to determine just one. Thankfully, the chocolate one is the one I care about the least, because even though this bottle was still sealed, it's half-empty! It's almost like someone decided they didn't like it, returned it, and it was re-packaged to be re-sold. I guess that's the one that spilled all over the others?? But like I said, the seal was unbroken and I had to crack it open when I went to smell it. So I'm not exactly sure how that happened, and I AM a little disappointed that it's missing so much volume -- the cupcake one seems to be missing some too, though not nearly as much. The others were full enough, for the price, so I suppose I can be fine with it. Not happy, but fine. As far as the longevity of the scent, I'm not sure just yet, as I haven't gotten the chance to make any candles yet. But I can say I've washed my hands multiple times and I still smell the mix of oils on my hands -- strangely, when all the scents are combined, they make me think of bubble gum. There are worse things my hands could smell like, I suppose!

Just got mine and they are all full and smell great. They each had plastic wrapped around them in a nice box that held each oil. They all smell great to me, even the cup cake smells like cup cake batter. The only thing I did notice is 4 of them are filled evenly and equally to the 5ML, but one is over filled which is great. Not the smell I would have wanted more of, but thats ok and one had a tiny bit less than the rest of them. Still enough, but definitely less than the rest. Over all for the price I dont see why so many are unhappy with them. Yeah they are 5ML which is a little over 1oz total for the 6 of them like most essential oils. For the price I cant see why anyone is bothered by that. You can clearly see they are smaller. It's a great price point. To expect them all to be 1oz for 9 bucks is absurd. Only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 star is that they are not evenly distributed. Other than that they are a great buy and work great in my lotions, perfumes and candles.

I love the sweet scents. For some you may need to use more for the significant scent to come through.
