I usually assume that buying anything online will be slightly disappointing because of size. Something arrives & it fits in the palm of your hand instead of being the huge amount shown/ suggested by the seller. This is THE EXCEPTION. For 14$ I couldn't believe the size of this container!! THANK YOU FOR NOT BEING A GREEDY COMPANY TRYING TO GOUGE US FOR EVERY DOLLAR YOU CAN. For real, they could be charging 30$ for this amount & quality of gesso. I first used this black gesso in my Strathmore mixed media Journal. When dry, I wrote over it with (an essential in mix media) a white Uni-ball Signo gel pen with no issues, very smooth, little tooth. I also used this extra black gesso for mark making on my blue painted background. This product is smooth, very thick, gorgeous quality and will last me .. probably the rest of my life! LOL. This primer is perfect for model builders. I use on all my models weather it is plastic or metal. I will never use another spray primer again.

Amazing So smooth and coverage is complete in one thin coat. The black is so intense and rich matt. If you are ok with less tooth this is the best ever!!! I wish I could find a white that is this nice
