I needed a 32nd ruler which was slim and this fits the bill spot on. It's nice and long and very versatile (ᴛʜᴀᴛs ᴡʜᴀᴛ sʜᴇ sᴀɪᴅ). The only issue is it has a factory defect at one of the numbers, a slight scratch sorta thing. So good I bought another one just in case.

I have bought (and lost) several of these over many years. I keep coming back because they are consistently well made, accurate, easy to read. The scales go to square ends so you can butt them against something to measure. The alignment of the end of the ruler vs. the scale is correct so you can flip it end for end to get the scale you need on the edge you need and it agrees. The markings are etched and easy to read. They flex without taking a set, the edges are square and smooth but not sharp. It is 1/2 mm thick (0.02"). The only downside is that local big-box stores don't seem to carry them any more, but Amazon does! I use it continually, for all kinds of things.
