Badash - Murano Style Art Glass Bull L8xh4"

My sisters cat passed away, and she had her for 19 years <rescued her as a 2 week old baby>, so I wanted to get her something that would give her good memories. I found this figurine not even looking for it!I ordered it and had it shipped to me first to make sure it was the quality I was expecting. I blow glass and make glass beads and small ornaments, so I know what I was looking for.This is a GORGEOUS Cat Figurine!It is about 11-12 inches tall. It's hard to measure any of the other parts of the cat because it's all different. The bottom is around 4 inches and is quote heavy - it won't fall over unless someone knocks it over. The neck is the smallest at about 1-2 inches wide.The colors are beautiful - I love the Amber with Light and Dark Blue. It is hard to see the Black Eyes unless you have a light shining on it, but they are there.My figurine had no bubbles <which honestly - it's hard not to get air bubbles in a glass figure this large>, no scratches - it is just beautiful - excellent artisan workmanship!Honestly - I don't understand a negative review of this item...Mine looks like the photo. It's not EXACT, but when you are making glass, NO TWO ITEMS WILL EVER BE THE EXACT SAME - no matter how hard you try. I know - I work with glass. It's IMPOSSIBLE to make 2 look exactly alike! So, don't expect yours to look exactly like the one in the photo. It will be VERY CLOSE!The cat I got has the same colors, but mine had a small amount of Amber in the belly - which actually looks really cool. My brother-in-law thought it looks like liquid!All in all...my sister and b-i-l LOVE their new cat - and THAT"S what matters to me! So it was ABSOLUTELY well worth the money I spent on it. <If you try to get a glass worker from Murano Italy to make you one - it would be well over $200-300!!I recommend this cat if you're looking for something beautiful and no one will have one like yours.

This is a cute design and the colors are pretty. However; the one I received had several bubble flaws in the glass. The bubbles within the dark blue area were so obvious as it looked like white spots in that area. My OCD eye couldn't deal with the flaws, so I returned this.

Very pretty, nice and heavy.There is a big scratch on his chest, how can we fix that?

Mom loved it for Mother's Day, as she grew up in a farm family...
