I can't fault the product for the fact that I didn't pay enough attention to the description. I have read that bamboo bowls can't be microwaved and that makes me uncertain about keeping them. However given that I only heat up a muffin in a bowl for 14 seconds it shouldn't be an issue I guess. Certainly light and easily stored.

Plastic. Tiny. You can buy much nicer ones from dollar store.

These bowls are light weight, sturdy and attractive. Just enough for a serving of cereal. Great for a side salad or snack serving.
