I can’t write to the IR visibility of it, but it’s a damn good looking hat. The inserts for foliage could be like a green color, but it doesn’t change the camo all that much. Damn good hat, so good mine got stolen and I’m ordering another.

Material is nice and heavy, same material as desert DBUs, and stitching seems adequate. But this hat is sized for a giant head. I'm no pinhead, I wear a size 7 soft cap / cover, but this was way too big. I was able to resolve this issue after I received another boonie from a different manufacturer, which had a drawstring incorporated in the brim lining. So my solution was to run a length of 550 cord inside the liner, to allow me to cinch it up a bit. Now it fits perfectly, and my head isn't swimming in it. It otherwise looks well made considering it's made in China, but what isn't these days.

Good fit, great coverage. I love the bit that holds the hat on being adjustable and slippage so it doesn't budget. The snap on the left side doesn't snap and hold properly on mine, but I usually just go right-side up anyway. Material quality is what you would expect, fairly thick and comfortable, able to stand up to wind, rain, and sun.

Rugged material. Fits a little loose, which I like. I wear it daily at work. Keeps the sun off my neck and ears.

Been wearing it all summer while working in the yard. Works great with bug netting.

Works as intended. Been using this for the beach and mowing the lawn. May need to get another one because of the sweat collecting but so far so good.

This hat will cast shade like an umbrella at the beach! Not really, but it will keep the sun off your neck and face if worn correctly. Breathable material w/ vent holes allows the body heat to escape well. Lightweight, and the size works for me. I’m no doctor so don’t quote me on head sizes, but I’d say I have a large to XL head and it fits snug enough to stay in place but loose enough not to give me a headache. Hope that makes sense. Little disappointed in the multicam pattern. Could be just the batch of fabric I got but it’s definitely 60% green rather than a true split of colors. Overall I’m satisfied.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: It’s certainly not “one size fits all” it’s made really small, I’m 6’3” and 280 lbs with a average size head and this is way to small for me, my wife who has a small head tried it on and it fit her but it was so tight that she said if she had to wear it that she would have had a headache soon SO if you have a small head this cap is for you it’s well made and looks good but really small

Konstruktionen känns rejäl, och verkar hålla passformen, och borde tåla att knölas ned i en väska (har ännu inte testat detta, men det var ungefär så den levererades). Det återstår att se hur bra den tål upprepad handtvätt, men jag tror det skall fungera bra.

I love this hat!!! It’s so well made looks pure MD made the stitching & material is perfect. The poppers work really well & the strap is well worth having on very windy days. Don’t think about it just buy it you will not be disappointed - ps the jungle camo is stunning!!
