Great solution for a puppy
This is a great buy of you just got a puppy. I have it for more than a week now, and it meets all expectations. Puppy is a larger breed, and energized. I got him when he was 2 months old. The first few nights, I used a crate I have from his older brother (42"*28"). But couple of issues with that: 1. The crate is heavy. Once you put it in a spot, it is not intended to be moved around multiple times a day. 2. The crate was too big - for a puppy that young of an age - it did not provide any coziness or warmth. I know I could buy a smaller crate - but this did not make sense for me, because he is growing fast. So with the main issue being portability around the house, where during the day - I needed his 'crate' to be next to my desk, and at night, I needed it to be in the bedroom where he won't feel abandoned (he is a baby) - this Playpen is the perfect solution: 1. It is very sturdy - Puppy is having 'escape' attacks every now and then - as hard as he goes with his paws against the walls - and after more than a week - no tears, no breaks. The fort is still standing :) 2. it is very wide inside - I put in a big pillow, a blue pad, a big stuffed toy, a few little toys - and there is plenty of room for him to play in it and sleep when desired. 3. The cover on top, and the fact that the bottom half of the walls are covered - I believe provide puppy a bit more sense of coziness, security and warmth. When he walks around, trying to find his perfect spot to sleep, he leans against the walls, and lays down. 4. Portability - so for me, it isn't so much about travel outside from home - just in between rooms, usually twice a day. It is light weighted, easy to turn on one side and pull out of the room, or fold and hold. I don't fold, because I have his stuff inside, so I just grab and pull. 5. Price - more or less like the other compatible playpens, and yet from the pictures it looks more sturdy than the others, and no extra cost 6. No smell, and easy to clean when puppy pees a few drops when excited before I pick him up. One thing to note - for big puppies, you can't leave them in without zipping the top because the walls will not hold their weight if the stand up and lean on it. For smaller breeds, it should not be a problem. For me - I don't mind, because I feel the closed top adds a sense of security . Puppy is with us for 2 weeks now, only one week in this playpen, about 10 weeks old - and he sleeps through the night no problems. And goes in without a fight during the day or 1-2 hours at a time. I would recommend this for any new puppy owner.

Perfect for puppies!
We got a 7 week old puppy last weekend and needed a roomy place to contain him. I bought the large size which has plenty of room for his bed and some room left over for his food and water bowls, toys and sometimes he likes to lay outside of his bed. He has slept well in there and we were able to move it between our bedroom and family room. After the past week, I decided to keep the small one in the bedroom permanently and buy the XL one for our family room. This one is super roomy for him and I like that it is 30 inches high, so as he grows he still should not have the ability to jump out. (The first picture in this post is the XL and the remaining ones are the Large size). It is very sturdy, easy to move around and folds up super small. My only concern is that the door has some Velcro on the inside that he wants to teeth on, so I hope he is not able to get a grip on it and rip a hole in the door. My fingers are crossed but for the price and durability, this is definitely a winner and I am glad to have two. The smaller one is perfect for bedtime.

FANTASTIC!
Absolutely love this. We originally got it for our puppy, but our 4 yr old pup loved it and we decided to change the crate out for this. It’s great quality, the material is strong and sturdy. It pops open very easily not hard to assemble at all. It looks great in the brown, and it’s easy to move from room to room. It functions as needed and I think it’s a great piece for the cost. We did a medium and out 10lb havapoo has so much space for a bed toys and bowls if need be. Will be back to add photos!

Nice size for portable use.
Nice size for portable uses, material is good quality for the money. Play pen opens easily, however I find it a little difficult to get folded again to fit in carrying case. Maybe I just haven't figured it out yet.

Have had this cage for two years, and I love it
My partner and I have deemed this baby jail. It was used when my first kitten was spayed, had ringworm, and when my second kitten was recovering from an emergency procedure. It gave them both enough room to lay down and stretch their legs a little, but not too much room to where they could get into trouble. Material is thick canvas, and is in great condition even after being scratched at for hours on end. A little difficult to fold up, but is a great "emergency cage". The shape and material make it difficult for cones to get stuck, so we never had an issue with our cat getting her cone off. You just give it a little shake and it's all set up. 1000% would buy again, and I think every pet owner should have one just for the "throw it and it's a safe recovery cage" functionality.
