Samsung 980 1 TB PCIe 3.0 (up to 3.500 MB/s) NVMe M.2 Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (MZ-V8V1T0BW)

This M.2SSD rocks... Works perfectly and very effective. This is my replacement to the Kingston 2000 I bought 3 years ago. Don't know why I shifted to Kingston, turned out to be my greatest mistake because I buy samsung eer'thing. Looks like I'm selling my: Lenovo 330s RAM 8GB M.2SSD 500GB HDD 1TB in the next 5 years.... Perhaps never selling it altogether. Also, speed is good. I recommend this drive again and again.

So far so good. Upgraded from a 960 Evo 250gb ssd to this for my OS drive. Windows and other software now need much more than 250gb. This has let me system breathe after a long time

before I bought an NVME SSD from sabrent from amazon to install on my gaming laptop. it turns out the read speed was in the 2000 but the write was in the 150-500 range. maybe it was defective but with this. no issues at all read and write speed both are above 2000 and stays above even during heavy usage. it doesn't have the EVO or PRO branding on it but its just for show. because i get great speed and its reliable too. i just wish they had the 2TB option but other than that its great.

Upgraded my old msi ge72vr 7rf apache pro from team group 500gb to samsung 1tb 980. They updated the migration tool, so you wont be having an issue at all in cloning none samsung m.2 ssd. I use the u green ssd enclosure as suggested when buying samsung 980 1tb

Despite what other reviews say, I checked the read and write cycles, and the item turned out to be new. Read and write speeds are very close the advertised numbers. I recommend this SSD

Desde que instalé el Samsung 980 1 TB PCIe 3.0 en mi PC, he notado que cumple al pie de la letra con todas las especificaciones anunciadas. La unidad demuestra unas velocidades de lectura impresionantes, si bien es cierto que al hacer una bench del disco no llega siempre a los 3500MB/s que se anuncian, las velocidades que alcanza son cercanas (de unos 3200~3400 MB/s) lo cual bajo mi punto de vista sigue siendo una velocidad muy buena, lo que se traduce en transferencias ultrarrápidas y en un rendimiento destacado para tareas tanto cotidianas como exigentes. Lo que realmente me convenció es su estabilidad y fiabilidad. Durante meses de uso intensivo en situaciones reales —desde arrancar el sistema y cargar programas pesados hasta sesiones de juego demandantes— el SSD se comporta de manera impecable, sin sobrecalentarse ni presentar ningún tipo de fallo o inconveniente. Es, sin duda, una opción ideal para quienes buscan actualizar su equipo con un rendimiento de primer nivel sin contratiempos. Recomiendo este Samsung 980 1 TB PCIe 3.0 a todo aquel que quiera invertir en un almacenamiento sólido, rápido y que realmente cumple con lo prometido. ¡Una compra 5 estrellas sin duda alguna!

Używam jako zewnętrzny dysk do Mac Mini M2 2023r. Sformatowałem w 1T i zainstalowałem Parallels z Win 11 (Steam, gry itd). Działa bez zacięć. Podłączone przez USB-C Tb4. Niestety prędkości w teście 5GB są o połowę niższe od dysku wbudowanego do Maca. Okazało się, że nie przeszkadzają w codziennym użytkowaniu. Nie widzę różnicy w korzystaniu z oprogramowania na dysku wew. Vs. Zew. Nie zauważyłem wysokiej temperatury, pamięć zachowuje się należycie. Dysk wew. Osiąga prędkość 1611 MB/s (odczyt) i 1471.1 (zapis) - samsung tak jak na filmie. Jak napisałem wyżej - nie przeszkadza w codziennym użytkowaniu.

My son wanted this to upgrade his gaming system and his pc was expandable. He learned to install it and deal with the software on his own. The price was reasonable and we bought the one that wasn't due to the chip shortage era. So, make sure you know the difference between the models that are provided before buying.
