Looks good and fits good for now. Time will tell. Will write a more full review as time goes on and I do some training with it.UPDATE: Went to range and it hung on tight while attached on my 12 gauge. Just a warning though, once you've decided wear to put it and tighten it down it cannot be removed or moved to a different position. Screw stripped and will not come off now. So, once you put it where you want it that's where it will be permanently.

I liked the fact that this takes up very little rail real estate. I didn't like the fact that it gouges easily with an HK hook in it. The hole was too small for my liking. May work with other applications though.

Sometimes all you've got is a rail. That was my boat and initially this looked like it would be perfect. Then I read the reviews, and started to doubt. Multiple complaints about the hole being too small and the finish scratching too easy. Two review comments swayed me into trying it: one mentioned that the snug fit made it less noisy. The other pointed out that the hole could be expanded with a drill. Since I like quiet and I own a drill, and that my options were limited, I decided to order and see for myself. In my case, we've been using the 1 Point Tactical Bungee Sling available through Amazon. This sling hook arrived three days after I placed the order (with standard shipping). It attached quickly to the rail and I had no difficulties with the screw. When I hooked on the sling, I found the interlocking ring mechanism fit "snuggly". That's the best word I can think to use. It took a slight push on either side of the ring clip to get them to seat and interlock through the hole, but it still only took seconds. The closed ring pivots fine inside the loop, and I suspect that will likely wear off the enamel coating. Since I don't plan on conducting SEAL team missions with this gun, I'm not that worried about the sling attachment getting rusted. Because of the tight fit with the sling rings, the reviewer who mentioned the quietness factor was dead-on. If you're looking to conserve rail space, or simply have a railed gun that doesn't provide for other options, I'd say this little thing fits the bill real well.

Made in China. Not inferior but not home grown. The hole diameter is about 11/32". This type of one piece construction has to be slid on, which may scratch your rails if they are not Cerakoted. It locks down very secure, but wasn't shipped with the 7/64" hex key it required, which is an odd size for me that I will replace. I will buy a few more of these for training rigs. A drop of blue loctite and its not coming off.

I think that this product is well designed and works as intended. The problem is how long will it work. If your sling has harder clips than the metal used for this mount you will gouge it. Don't expect the paint to last long either. All in all I would buy again but I would not use on primary weapon. You get what you pay for.

I like the compact size and easy installation. The square edges of the hole and mount is rough on sling hooks and swivels and vice versa. The finish was scraped off in no time. I rounded off the edges of the hole and the mount with a Dremel tool and put some anodize finish solution on the exposed aluminum and now it is much better.

Just a single rail slot is needed for a slim profile! There was already a UTG polymer vertical grip that occupied 80% of rail space. Because of the platform design, there was no side rails. The prior reviewers were very helpful too. I used a Blue Force Mash Hook to connect the sling onto the Hook Mount. An HK Style Snap hook might work too. The fit and finish is good quality too. Very light weight but anodized aluminum (made in China). I have not seen a similar US made product.
