Super adhesive! I use four for my huge posters, but honestly i could get away with just using two! A bit of a hassle to remove, and i wouldnt recommended using these unless you have a plan on where you want your posters to be because these mounters STICK! I love them!

I've tried these on a few different surfaces. The only thing they were good for was mounting paper to cardboard.

These Scotch mounting squares are great for mounting lightweight things like posters, signs, etc on walls. They're a removable alternative to the permanent double sided tape offered by 3M. I've used these on all sorts of items and typically you can remove them without a problem but I will note a couple of considerations: First if you put these on paper, you'll probably not be able to get them off. Laminated paper or smooth surfaces is no problem though. Next, if you cut them smaller, they don't hold together as well. These are not like double sided tape where the foam is consistent throughout the product. It's like two sticky sides with an open cell foam between them. The edge of the square is the area where the two sides are joined together. So cutting the square weakens the integrity of the foam structure. Finally, if you leave them on a surface for a long time (months and months) they might leave a sticky residue behind. This easily comes off if you rub it with your finger. I use these a lot and those are my only items of note. They are of the expected 3M quality (top notch).

Very disappointing, I tried to put up a picture but 8 squares weren't enough to hold it. I then tried to put up a small flag, and it fell too, they don't work. The one good thing is they come off the wall easy so there is no evidence of this useless product.
