Very sturdy.
Love the different color lights. My grandson uses it as a night light. It’s nice. The light goes out after so many hours we bought this for his beta fish plenty of room.

Cheap material, not as pictured
I loved the concept of this tank and I wish it was actually as good as it looks. ;( But this is a weirdly designed tank, and NOT true to the pictures posted by the seller. - It is not made of acrylic, as expected (although the item description doesn't actually state what material it's made out of) - it is made of plastic, like a clear milk jug. It's flexible and the sides can be squeezed, even when it's full of water. - The bottom is not flat, for some completely bizarre reason. The ad pictures show the tank sitting flat on a table, but that is completely false advertising. The bottom of the tank has a bump out that cause the tank to not sit flat on any surface - see attached pics. The "bottom" of the tank actually hovers about half an inch above the surface the "bump" is sitting on. - Because the tank is made of flexible plastic and the bottom isn't flat, if the gravel and decorations inside the tank aren't perfectly balanced (weight-wise) on all sides, the tank will not be level - this is obvious if the tank isn't full to the very top, you can see the water filling one side before the other. - Because the tank doesn't sit flat on the surface below it, the entire tank rocks when you push the button on the top to toggle the lights. (You can solve this by picking up the black piece, which is the light housing and is not attached to the clear tank lid, turning the lights on, then replacing it on top, but you shouldn't have to. The tank should have been designed for this to not be an issue in the first place.) - Due to the material, I wouldn't trust a heater in this tank, even the small under gravel heaters they make for betta tanks. - There is no way to disable the "auto-off after 2 hours" feature of the lights, which the instructions say is factory preset. Fortunately, that feature doesn't seem to work anyway, I've had it on for 2.5 hours so far, and it's still lit. - Although there are no seams around the sides, the "corners" where the plastic bends distort the view inside the tank, creating split and mirror images. All that being said, the tank *looks* pretty nice, other than the (extremely) annoying fact that it doesn't sit flat on the countertop. The fact that it can run on batteries and is literally cordless (if you don't use a heater) is very convenient. But for the price, I expected better quality, and that bump on the bottom is not only completely nonsensical, as explained above it creates several other logistical problems with the tank itself. Overall I can't recommend.

Very unstable
Really nice shape (I bought the 2 gallon). My Beta has plenty of room to swim around. The light doesn’t work unless you keep it plugged in. I gave it 3 stars because it is not stable. The design does not sit flat so it is wobbly. If you bump it , it will spill pretty easily. That is my biggest complaint. I have to watch it around my cats. I am thinking I may send it back and get a round one. Too bad because I love the octagon shape… just really unstable.

Nice Starter Tank
This is a cute starter tank for any child or beginner to fish. It's a thick plastic tank that comes with LED light that changes colors, and runs on 2 AA batteries. (AC adaptor can be bought separately on amazon for about $12) I purchased this for a small betta fish for my granddaughter. She loved it. This is a great starter tank, I would recommend it to anyone just starting out with fish, and a betta is a good fish to start with this tank as well. I would purchase again.

Where’s The Stand?!?
Not very pleased with this purchase either! First I want to say it’s a nice thought but for the price I was expecting to get the tank and the stand like it says it “comes with”? There’s no stand so it sits about an inch off the table. Then it’s not very clear because it is plastic. I like the idea but not worth it when there’s better products for the same price! Not recommending.

Cool-Looking Plastic Fish Tank!
Love it! Was looking for something smaller but not a tiny bowl for my beta fish. The shape is fun to look at. It’s lightweight plastic and easy to clean. Good for transportation back and forth from college. My only complaint is that if you want to add a filter or heater, the top hole does not open up all the way to the sides of the tank, so the filter kind of floats in the middle of everything. I prop it up with some rocks and a plant so it isn’t crooked. It’s not even a super bad thing—My fish actually likes it positioned like that because behind the filter is just another little hiding place for him!

Lightweight and sturdy.
Lightweight but sturdy! Perfect for a beta and a few snails.

TLDR: This is a waste of money and this "tank" is not a tank.
Don't waste your time on this cheap plastic product. No matter how pretty the display photo is for this product, it is NOT an ideal "tank" for ANY kind of fish. Save your money and spend a couple more bucks for a glass tank from walmart or amazon especially if you plan on keeping your fish a long time.

It's like ur looking through the wrong prescription glasses. The angles are awful and it's hard to see fish because the plastic it's made out of is so flimsy and cheap. Very disappointed. I think seller should refund Immedietly instead of making it such a pain to return it.
