Kid made it through camp just fine. It is still intact and remarkably warm
Kid made it through camp just fine. It is still intact and remarkably warm. Probably the best "breathable" kids rain suit out there. It will tear, but for the price, it is a great value. No matter what the fabric (and I have personally used Frogg Toggs, eVent, Gortex, what ever is in a marmot Precip) none are going to magically wick away sweat. You will get hot and you will sweat. When it is no longer raining you best not be wearing cotton if you are in the wilderness and in danger of hypothermia. If you are at home then all will work just fine.

Fall apart cheap material
The crotch ripped from the process of standing up after my kid put the pants on. I duct tape them together, which held it together for one day use, and the jacket is falling apart now as well. As soon as I opened it, I could tell it was cheap. It does not look like permanent material. If you buy this think of it as a very expensive, disposable rain suit that may not even last the stress of being put on.

Perfect for small women
I’m 5”4, 105 pounds and the large fits well. I just wish it had pockets. I’d be willing to pay more for pockets. Wore today in a rainy dog walk and the suit was perfect. Kept me totally dry.

Not super tough, but good enough
They don’t last forever, but for a growing kid, these will do the job. Kept him dry at elk camp in the rain

No durability on first wear
Quality of these are terrible. First use/wear and a massive hole in the pants stitching developed - might as well just set money on fire. Will not purchase again.

Thin, flimsy, easy tears
We purchased these pants for my daughter to wear at Disneyland. She wore the outfit for less than 90 minutes before she sat down on a bench and the entire seam of the butt ripped open. Thankfully we had also purchased a separate poncho that went down to her knees so her butt didn’t get wet, but the durability is extremely lacking. The coat did not tear but the hood was so shallow that it only came to the front of her hairline leaving her forehead and face to get wet. It also doesn’t have a drawstring to tighten the hood so it constantly blows off with even the slight breeze from her walking. The only reason I give two stars is at least the fit was what we described.

... and it seems that it will get ripped quite easily. The fabric feels similar to disposable products
It is a bit thin and it seems that it will get ripped quite easily. The fabric feels similar to disposable products. Also, I will not put it in a dryer, as it seems that it might peel. I've had other sets that are much better quality. I don't feel that this set will be durable enough to get passed down if used frequently. However, I will keep it only because it folds up really small and it is easy to store. It fits in my daughters gym bag nicely. We've only used it once. They run a bit big. I got the medium for my 7 year old daughter, and it is huge. I am 5'4" and the pants almost fit me. Way too big to be worn this year. She currently wears a childrens size 7/8.
