My replacement Sena 20s EVO battery arrived today and I enjoyed 100% success installing it. The 20s evo install instructions are "scary" but very doable. I used youtube video /watch?v=x311Sux8Ppo The sena 20s evo was NOT designed to have its battery replaced. But just because it wasn't designed to be replaced doesn't mean it can't be done. Install instructions such as the above make it possible. YES this battery is about 1/32" wider and 1/16" longer than OEM. HOWEVER it still "fits" without any heroic efforts. I varied from video in two places. a) I used a loop of duct tape to affix the battery to its case vs using the OEM 2-sided tape. I did this because a loop of tape is way thinner makes up for any extra thickness batter might have. b) I used a piece of scotch tape to pin the cable to the battery side as to keep it out of the way during top circuit board insertion. when I was done my unit turn on all the functions worked. I have only owned this unit for a few hours but I know it accepts a full charge and all the evo functions work. Time will tell how long the battery will last. My old battery was 4 yrs old and didn't last long anymore. The picture with a yellow-sided battery is OEM, the picture with the silver battery is its replacement.

Arrived on time, exactly as stated by seller , fits well in my Sena S20 & charges fast.. within an hour it was fully charged!

Worked really well. The plug was identical no need to change like some videos Ive seen. I’m now able to go for long ride without recharging. I get typical 8 to 12 hrs depending on if i play music the entire time . Old battery went about 3 hrs. The new battery is awesome,

Installation was easy, however this was my second battery from them. The first one I got, plugged it it and it started to get hot a d caught fire, so I got a replacement, this one installed fine again, my sena 20s turned on just fine. But even after fully charging it didn't even last a trip to work and back. It's about a 20 minute trip one way, I turn it off at work, then my sena dies on me before I can even make it home. Not sure if I just got 2 bad batteries, but this has been my experience with the 2 I got.

Unfortunately, this review will not be about the battery life, but more about the ease of installation. I am not in a position to actually use these yet, but I had my Sena SMH10's main units with me and knew the batteries needed to be changed. My main concerns were fit of the battery and ease of opening up the headset to install the new battery. These batteries came promptly and are a larger capacity battery than the originals in the headsets. After taking out the three screws holding the headset together, I carefully pried the two pieces apart. This took under a minute to do.....from that point on, changing out the battery was simple. It plugs right in to the port that the old battery is unplugged from and fits perfectly into it's alloyed space. Within minutes, the two pieces were fit back together and screwed right. I immediately charged both units and, initially amber, they were soon blue, indictating a charge. I know they will now work, but don't have the helmets or mic attachments with me to actually use them as this equipment is in another state. At least I'll be ready to go when I finally hop onto my scooters in a few months!

I have the SMH10-11 dual version and these batteries were a direct replacement. I did verify polarity and it was correct. We’ve had these for 9 years and hopefully for another 9 years now.

I replaced the batteries in my motorcycle with these and they worked great. I did have to cut and change the connecting end with the ones from the original set.
