Easy to put together and attractive way of storing your bread. Know that this is obviously not an airtight container so you will need to have your bread in a bag or some other container to maintain freshness. However, the size and functionality are great. Not sure why there were concerns on the directions. It took me about twelve minutes or less to put together and that’s with a toddler who was very eager to help. Picture of the bread box which as you can see can also be used as a little people house.

I was skeptical of quality but it is extremely sturdy, and looks great. It was super easy to put together and didn’t come with a smell that sometimes products like these come with. I give it 5 stars, but if you have cats it doesn’t keep them out of it. Very easily opened doors.

I bought the green box which stands out because it sort of doesn’t match my decor, but I am so proud of it that I want it to stand out for being rather rustic looking and smartly designed with its windows and the two levels. It also has a good amount of room for a small bread products-loving household. Based on the reviews I studied before purchasing, I braced myself for a battle in assembling it because I’m just a dumb blonde. While waiting for its delivery (it arrived in a couple days!) I copied and saved on my iPhone’s memo pad a few YouTube assembly links where a couple reviewers turned because the directions were said to be really poorly written. When the big day came, I started up an assembly video, but very soon I got tired of repeatedly stopping and starting it, so I pulled out the assembly instruction sheet that came with the box. I think the manufacturer got wind of the complaints and made changes because I found the textual instructions and diagrams very clear and so helpful that I didn’t need videos. Also (T.G.) the hinges were already set; the screws for the hinges are very tiny and I can imagine a lot of huge-handed clumsy-fingered Americans going nuts trying to thread those tiny things. I timed myself and found I finished assembling the bread box in only 20 minutes. Someone with better spatial skills than I have might well get it done in half the time. The company supplied a little screw driver which I used for the knobs, but I second the suggestion in the reviews to use an electric screwdriver; that was useful. They even thoughtfully supplied several extra stews (all magnetic) and an extra little wooden knob, just in case. As you can see, I was very happy with this order and have no complaints.

Good price. Attractive piece; looks just like the pictures. The instructions are GREAT. Written in very clear/concise English and super easy to follow. Im only downgrading this product to 4* because it arrived with one of the window frame corners detached. Since i unboxed and attempted to assemble on Christmas Eve, returning and exchanging was not and option. So i broke out the JB Weld to glue it back together and will hope for the best.

Easy to put together, durable, I can fit quite a bit of bread inside. 3-4 loaves depending on the size and shape. Easy to clean. Looks great on the counter.

i am so happy with our new bread box. I bake our families bread and have been using plastic bags for everything and this bread box helps to store it and keeps it fresh. the packaging was so neatly done with plastic ends to keep it all protected. the see thru windows are a plastic so i don’t have to worry about it shattering if one of my kids opens the door too hard. there are holes in the back of the box to help with airflow. i got it put together in about 10 minutes: it is able to fit 3 large sourdough boules in the bottom so it’s very spacious. it also came with the screwdriver and extra hardware. i don’t understand why it is a frequently returned item because it matches the pictures and description to a t.

This bread box looks really cute on your kitchen counter. The two doors that open up make you feel like you’re at a bakery. Other than that it doesn’t work. We assembled it and then saw the huge gaps for the bottom drawer so we thought we did it wrong. We then took the whole thing apart and rebuilt it hoping it would fix the problem. Same exact thing. So any bread or cookies or anything you put in there, it gets moldy, and the bread gets hard within a matter of two days. Waste of money.

Once we figured out how to assemble it, it turned out to be a nice looking bread box with a country feel to it. My wife and her friends love it.

We bought the double-layer breadbox (in Australia). It arrived promptly. I found it easy to assemble (perhaps a bit fiddly at times) and it is serving its purpose well. I wanted our kitchen counter to look a bit neater - rather than having loaves of bread lying around. It looks attractive, is sturdy and the bread keeps well in it :)

Been using this for nearly a year now with multiple open/ close movements every day. Still works great, and looks very cute even in a modern kitchen.

This company deserves nothing less than a 5 star rating as the quality of design, products and customer orientated thinking was evident from the get-go. First of all the bread box was extremely welll packed and protected with four re-enforced corners for product protection. The hardware and enclosed screwdriver were thoughtfully magnetized by two small but powerful magnet buttons making the assenbly much easier. Putting it together was relatively straight forward as long as you remember to put the hinged shelf with the groove as the bottom piece. The black finish seems top notch and durable. And of course it is very functional as well as stylish. About the only caveat I have is that there should be a CAUTION / WARNING as to the presence of the tiny magnets to prevent children / pets from inadvertenly finding them, either on the parts bag or better stll on the front page of the instructions.
