Yes, they're a little shorter than the average hanger--they're 1 inch smaller (15.5 inches compared to 16.5 inches). This is precisely why I love them. They are the perfect size for youth shirts when they have outgrown the little kiddie hangers, but their clothes are still too small for adult hangers. I was going crazy with my boys' shirts. After size 8 kids' shirts really don't fit well on the standard kiddie hangers--they fall off. Yet the adult hangers stretch them out too much and it's hard to get the shirts on and off them without over-stretching the shirts. These are perfect up to size 14/16. I'm very happy they make this intermediate size. They are on the thin side, which means they save space in the closet, but they are a bit on the fragile side too. I've bought three sets so far, and I'll probably buy more.

These work great for tank tops/thin strapped items. They would also work good for toddler/kids clothing I am sure. Smaller than average hanger but works just fine for me. I am a bigger person and they seem to hold my clothing well/none have broken and I've had these for a couple months now using daily.

These were smaller and not as sturdy as I hoped they would be. Ended up getting different ones for adult clothes and used this for children clothes instead.

Ok... yes, I give these hangers 4 stars. You may be asking yourself, why, when there are so many poor reviews.Yes, these hangers are light weight. Yes, they are slightly smaller than average hangers.They're perfect for kids (not toddler) shirts. Think youth shirts for kids aged 7-12. Large enough so that they don't slip off, but small enough that they can still be pulled through the hole for the head. Because we all know that 10 year old boys are lazy and simply yank at the shirt to get it off the hook.So far they've held up to that abuse well.

The media could not be loaded. These firm hangers are so great it left me speechless. I was going to write a speech too. Oh well. They are firm not flimsy and can hang shirts or pants or dresses. Use them in the car or closet or at the bar. You can hang a plant that grows or your nice clean panty hose. These coat hangars are awful. They're way too small for adult clothes, and the edges aren't rounded nearly enough so you'll get awful stretching in anything you put on it. I wouldn't use these for anything except maybe hanging up pants. I thought I could save myself a trip to the store by buying these, but it was a total mistake. I wish I had waited for more reviews before buying them. Please destroy the machines used to produce these.Waste of money.

These hangers are the *perfect* size for an mid-elementary to middle-school child's clothes. Big hangers require them to stretch out their shirt necks too much. Hangers labeled as for kids are so small their clothes fall off. These hangers are just right - the middle size they need, and the only hangers I've found in this middle size. I also really appreciate that they're made of recycled plastic!(Note that the part that goes over the closet bar hangs closer to the bar than in typical adult size hangers - this isn't a problem at all, but was different so I wanted to mention it.)

Does that stretch the necks out on your shirts so they are easy to put on and off quickly since they are smaller than a regular hanger. That’s why they are perfect for hanging laundry and things with tight necks so you don’t have to go through the shirt or dress from underneath.
