Are these really the best office chair wheels you can buy? Absolutely!! I would even go so far to say that in ease of movement, smoothness of glide, and unbelievably silent that these wheels are the next best thing to anti-gravity; if anti-gravity was actually available to us. I first noticed these wheels on a co-worker's chair. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed how he moved so effortlessly, and so quietly compared to the never-ending fight for dominance I was involved in with my office chair. After finally reaching my limit with that chair, I turned to my co-worker and asked him where did he buy his chair from? He told me he didn't buy a new chair just new wheels, and it made all the difference. He offered to let me try his chair out for a couple of hours. I was blown away by how much of a difference these wheels can make on an office chair. Honestly I didn't ever need 5 minutes to make up my mind, but I was loving the glide of these wheels so much that I feigned 2 hours of indecisiveness. That experience led me to buy my first set of these wheels. Now I've just bought my second set of these wheels for the chair I use at the end of the kitchen table I call my office desk. If you've made it this far in my review, stop reading and order yourself a set of these wheels! Especially if you're still rolling around on the old plastic stuff. If you're still working outside your home, you can pull out the old wheels with little effort, at most gently prying them out with a flat screwdriver. Putting these wheels in are even easier. Just make sure not to throw away your old wheels because if you leave that place of work you'll want to take these spiffy wheels with you. And keep the box to, it'll make bringing your wheels with you that much easier. If you're working at home, especially in your kitchen on a tile floor, once you put these wheels in you won't hear that chair rolling over the tile again. Not to mention how much easier on the tile these wheels are in the first place. So do yourself a favor, or as a favor for a friend and GET A SET OF THESE WHEELS!!!

Wow, I wish I had found these years ago. So much better than the cheap plastic chair wheels. They are quiet and easy to roll around on. They seem to protect the floor better as well.

Product description is true. Purchased May 2020, it's Feb 2026 and I'm still rolling soundlessly, they don't mark the wood floor, price was good for five casters. My downstairs neighbors are happy (no sound). The installation was quick and easy. I recommend purchasing this item. I had to come back and write a review (my first review on Amazon)!

These are the only office chair wheels I will buy! Always built super sturdy, go right in the OEM slots and lock in tight, and roll like melted butter on toast!

I've lost count of the number of chairs I've purchased over 40+ years for my business and home office use. I don't like office mats, but have found them to be an ugly necessity to protect floors/carpets from the damage done by the cheap wheels provided with most chairs, even expensive ones. The sound made by cheap wheels scraping across a mat, their propensity to become stuck, and the ensuing need to drag chairs around instead of easily rolling and turning as needed has been an added non-attraction. Eventually mats need to be replaced, as they yellow and become brittle with age, with the new mat not only used to protect the carpet or floor but also for aesthetic reasons because the floor/carpet under the mat doesn't match the faded, worn floor around the mat. The problems I mention above were results of poor quality *wheels* on the chairs, and the simple solution of replacing them with high quality wheels would make mats, lifting chairs to just turn them, etc., unnecessary. Purchasing these wheels has also stopped me from throwing nice chairs with stuck, noisy, near useless wheels into the nearest wall. I have a near psychotic impatience with this sort of thing - simple objects that can't properly perform their simple purpose. and it took 40 years for the Occam's Razor-ish solution to penetrate my addled brain. As an unexpected side benefit, my limited social life seems to have improved somewhat since I stopped screaming obscenities at inanimate objects, while throwing them around my office with the mindless, wild abandon of a bunch of panicked lemmings flinging themselves off the nearest cliff. (I'm exaggerating about throwing stuff around...a little bit anyhow.) Though we practice social distancing, wear masks, and rarely open our office for in person meeting with clients, I suspect people who drive by have frequently seen through the large picture windows at the front of our office the pathological response I have when I become impatient. I suspect those same people now believe I'm properly medicated as they drive by and watch me happily rolling around the office, seeing how far I can quietly go after pushing off one of my newly repaired walls. I'll bet a lot of the drivers-by now might even consider coming into our office, once the pandemic is under a semblance of control. There's no longer any need for potential clients who enter our office to fear being crushed by heavy flying chairs, all thanks to these new wheels! These excellent wheels are made of high-quality materials, they're smooth rolling on carpets and hard floors, and very quiet. No more damaging expensive chairs, buying mats every year or two, and spending time and money repairing holes in walls for me. In retrospect, I could have simply bought these wheels to replace the cheap, poor quality pieces of junk wheels that seem to be standard on most chairs. I highly recommend them for all, regardless of personal medication needs, propensity for chair throwing, or playing seated roller derby in their office. Seriously, these are really good wheels and well worth the cost.

So these are great wheels brand new. They lasted me about 3 years before the bearings in the swivel base gave up. I'm only 180 lbs so it's not like they were punished. I guess I would have expected them to last a little longer. They roll well, they're silent on laminate and LVP and, of course, office-grade carpet. I purchased another set to replace these so obviously they're good enough to continue buying. For the price, the quality is great. Mine do not have the lock feature.

Have only had them for a couple weeks, but so far I love these! They popped right in and roll so smooth and quite. Such a little change made such a difference in my everyday life. You may think you do not need new wheels, but you do. These things are luxurious.

These wheels are fantastic. Easy direct replacement for the old wheels on my office chair. They are solidly made roll extremely smoothly. They also do not mar my floors.

I've just redesigned my home office with a lovely wooden floor and plush chair. I really didn't want to ruin the aesthetic with a plastic cover to protect the floor but was concerned about castors making marks. I found these by chance and thought I'd give them a try. Wow! I love everything about them. They're careful packaged and feel like quality items before they're even out of the box. They look super stylish, much smarter than castors and glide so smoothly leaving no trace on my beautiful floor. Whoever thought of this is a total genius. My chair feels like it's on roller skates, which is exactly what they are. I love them so much I've immediately ordered another set for my partners chair so he can do away with the awful plastic mat on the floor! Functionality: Straight swap for castors, takes seconds to do. Glides like roller skates. Floor protection: No marks on expensive floors.

Producto perfecto, he cambiado las ruedas de mi silla de oficina y son perfectas. Tal y como indicaban en la descripción. Lo único es que la silla se mueve mucho más rápido al tener menos rozamiento y al principio se hace raro pero una vez te acostumbras es una gozada ya que te desplazas sin esfuerzo y no deja marcas en el suelo de madera. Si lo sé las habría cambiado antes
