I purchased this ruler quite a while back and finally had the opportunity to use it. It was very helpful in the construction of a valance I made for my craft room window. I used it to iron the fabric for the hem, but also used it for the sides and rod pocket. I relied on this ruler so much in this project. In the end, I think the ruler improved the outcome of my project. I’ve made valances before, but using this ruler, I think the hem and rod pocket came out less wonky. The grid lines really helped with measuring and folding the fabric as I went along. If only they would make a hot iron yard long ruler, I’d be all in! Love this little tool!

So this ruler is exactly what is says it is and works just fine. It is made from a really stiff felt like material. The only issue I have is that is not something that should be priced where it is, seems more like a $5-8 item.

I love this. It makes it so much easier to fold and iron to the correct measurement. Easy to use and to keep a consistent fold.

It’s too thick for the accurate seam allowance to be gained… you can not get a sharp crease. A loose marking at best. But you can iron over it without ruining it
