WWE: Royal Rumble 2021 (DVD)

The WWE dvd was damaged in shipping. Whole upper corner was cracked front and back like someone stepped on it. The disk seem to have no cracks. Waiting to see if they’re damage for playing. Birthday gift so won’t know till it’s played on the 20th. Today is the 10th.

Very good matches

This was a gift for my grandson and he absolutely loved it!

Before I discuss the actual event itself, let me start off by saying that I think the comic book style art on the DVD case is the best DVD cover I’ve ever seen from WWE.Now because of the nature of WWE programming, the Royal Rumble already feels like it took place like six months ago and not terribly much per se matters, but the 2021 Royal Rumble is an entertaining enough event beyond the opening Drew McIntyre-Goldberg and Sasha-Carmella match where Carmella eats the floor at one point.The Women’s Rumble earns points from me for showcasing newer stars in Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair and even provided my front runner for moment of the year when Rhea Ripley just casually shoved mid transformation Alexa Bliss from the Rumble match as though she was nothing. I laughed so hard. This was followed by an awesome Last Man Standing Match between Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens that left me wanting more and the Men’s Rumble.The extras are expanded containing a variety of matches and segments leading to the bigger matches on the show. I miss these and wish they would do them for the secondary shows. Most prominently is the very good Drew McIntyre vs. Keith Lee WWE Championship match from the first RAW of 2021.On the strength of the two Rumbles and Reigns vs. Owens, you should buy this if you’re a WWE fan or know one.

Purchased this as a gift for my nephew. He is a big wrestling fan. He loves it!

Got it to complete my Royal Rumble collection.
