Nice dispenser, great floss
Review for BURST Refillable Dental Floss Dispenser Set - Juniper Berry ScentNice work, BURST! You may have gained a return buyer with this floss.I purchased this solely for the refillable dispenser. On that end, I'm very happy. The dispenser is pretty easy to fill, and very easy to use (once filled). I didn't see many other floss dispensers on the market, but I'm very pleased with BURST's.I've been very happy with my previous floss (Dr. Tung) and I wasn't looking for a change. But since this dispenser comes with floss, I tried it out and I am super impressed. It has a lot in common with the Dr. Tung floss: it has the woven, cloth-like feel that expands when it goes through your teeth. I find that BURST floss feels slightly thicker than other floss, but not so thick that I have any difficulty moving it between teeth. I haven't had any shredding or breaking issues with the BURST floss. The flavor is very mild and refreshing. If you're looking for a refillable floss dispenser, I recommend BURST.

The only floss I'll use
I bought this floss at a last attempt to fix my dental habits. Other floss tends to cut at my gums, or be too thin to even do anything. I was attracted to Burst because of the "expanding" technology and the fact it was a reusable container.Like other reviewers said, I had a hard time putting the bobbin in at first but after looking it up it was fine. The packaging also included instructions on how to floss which is helpful for people who need to brush up (lol) on their skills.Pros: The flavor is a nice, traditional mint. I like that the string is black so you can see plaque. The floss is a nice, grabby texture that really pulls items out from your gums and holds onto them.Cons: Not too happy about the price and refill price compared to other floss, but it's worth it to me if it means flossing regularly!

A great bargain for a superior product
I got one of the best ever checkups wen I started using Reach Cleanpaste which now is discontinued. I'm almost glad it was or I wouldn't have looked for a replacement.Like the Cleanpaste, this floss is not thin. Most waxed flosses are thin and could possibly be used as heavy thread if one of your buttons came off. If you have gaps this one gives a good surface coverage.Another thing that I was particularly looking for was a floss that had a lightly rough surface to actually help polish off gunk on the surfaces between my teeth, like toothpaste does on the outer exposed surfaces (Cleanpaste used to do it). The slick waxed flosses, in my opinion, might help remove the larger things lodged in the cracks but just puts a gloss on top of the smaller stuff that sticks to teeth causing causes plaque and calculus to build up. This floss has that toothpaste-like feel. The final requirement in my search was that the floss not shred and catch on the edges of my old caps and crowns. Despite this not being a waxed-type floss I have yet to have either happen. This is a strong cohesive floss that doesn't come apart in strings like the Cleanpaste did. A big improvement in my opinion. The good solid case is a bonus and that it is reusable makes my day as I become more and more conscious of how much plastic I buy incidental to acquiring other products that I use. It also makes cutting the floss easy and precise. No more long shredded ends because the wimpy case deformed as I held it while pulling the thread around the cutter. In all this was a great product and a bargain as the cost isn't much over other flosses when you later get a cheaper 4-pack of refills.Edit: It's been a few months since I bought my 'starter kit' - the plastic case and first roll of floss. There no longer is any refill for sale here on Amazon. I went to the Burst site where they are available but I don't see an option for buying via Amazon Pay or Paypal. I don't like to have my credit card number strung all over every shop on the internet so I'll pass on buying refills now and try another floss that looks similar. If I later check and find the refills available here I will snatch them up!

Best floss!
The media could not be loaded. The case is so cute and satisfying to use. I love that it’s refillable. The black floss gives you the reward of seeing what you’ve cleaned. The expanding feature of the floss does an excellent job of cleaning between your teeth. (The floss comes in a sealed package that you put in yourself, for the sake of a shorter video I pre- placed it in there :)

We love these!
To preface, we love Burst’s toothbrushes. We have three in our house. So naturally we’d be curious if we like their other products (& we do). Originally, we got one of these floss sets with the adult starter set that came with my toothbrush. We love it! We love the size of the case and the shape also since it’s the perfect size and shape to hold onto and pull a strand, without also battling the holder. The floss is durable and comes off the spool and through the hole smoothly and cuts beautifully. This thing makes quick work of getting whatever floss strand size you want. And it’s refillable - so we buy our refills in bulk. And it’s affective. The floss works great and is comfortable to use, while still doing the job as it’s supposed to. We want to get a second holder for my husband’s travel & luggage bag for work trips and overnights. I don’t see us needing any replacements for poor quality. It’s great!

Great Floss, Stupid Price
I love this expandable charcoal floss as I feel like it pulls way more grime from between my teeth than the thinner string floss. The case is a nice bonus because it cuts down on waste. The flavor is very subtle. I could live without it if this decreased the cost. I went through the “12 week supply” in about 5 weeks. I admittedly like to use a longer piece, but I calculated it out and at 12 weeks this equals to a piece about 13” long. I don’t know anyone who can effectively floss using that little of a piece. And that is if you’re flossing once a day. I’m afraid at this price for this amount of floss I can’t continue to purchase.
