I've been using this Lamicall bike phone holder on my Velotric Discover 2, and overall it's a decent product that does the job well. The mount grips my iPhone 16 Pro Max securely when it's mounted properly. However, there's one significant issue that potential buyers should know about: if you have a thick TPU case (like I do), you're going to run into problems. On my second ride, my phone actually popped out of the mount. After some trial and error, I realized the thick case was preventing the mount from getting a proper grip on the phone. The solution is to remove your phone from its case before mounting, which is frankly inconvenient and defeats the purpose of having a protective case. If you're someone who rides frequently and relies on your case for protection, this becomes a real hassle. The mount itself seems well-built and the grip mechanism works fine with naked phones or very thin cases. It's just that compatibility with thicker cases - which many people use - is poor. If you don't mind the case removal routine or use a slim case, it's a solid choice. Otherwise, you might want to look for alternatives that can accommodate thicker protection.

To me, this is THE ideal, perfect phone holder for a bike. - its super sturdy - rotates and swivels - the holder is unique in that it expands in 2 directions, so it will fit many phones - the spring is solid. The phone isn’t going anywhere! - the handlebar mount is also sturdy and easy to attach Last, the mount lifts the phone 2-3 inches towards you. So very easy to manipulate while riding. Its a 5-star Winner!

After leaving a one star review I was contacted by the seller who offered to replace the defective product even after I had already been issued a refund by Amazon. The replacement arrived in a few days and is now installed and working on my stationary bike. It's hard to say how durable this would be out on the street due to my original experience, but it's working well on my stationary bike. I'll give it a few months of use and if it holds I may add another star **Original Review** The short review: It broke easily during installation. The longer review: this phone holder needs assembly out of the box. There are three pieces including a clamp with ball mount, the phone holder, and a screw ring to secure the other two pieces together. The clamp seems super sturdy. The phone holder itself works great. It's spring loaded and held my phone in its case very securely. The downside for me was the cheap brittle plastic ball head on the clamp. The ball head snaps into a socket on the phone mount. The screw ring is tightened to hold the phone mount in position. It's a pretty standard setup. Unfortunately, the ball head on my mount was a cheap piece of junk. While tightening the screw ring, the ball head snapped off the clamp rendering the whole thing useless. If this can break in my hands during installation, there's no way I would ever trust it on a motorcycle or bicycle. Now, perhaps I just received a bad copy. That's definitely possible. But there is no way I should have been able to snap off the ball head just by tightening the screw ring. I bought this to hold my phone on a stationary bike. I can't imagine what time and vibration would do if installed on a road bike or motorcycle.

These phone holders work great on our Yamaha Zuma 125 scooters. It holds the phone good and tight and the phone does not move even on bumps. Great purchase for the price.

This phone holder is much better than the last one I tried from a different company. It's made well, yet with a simple design, easy to use and sturdy. The locking mechanism makes me feel much more confident that my $1,300 phone won't fall out while bumping down the road or trail. The bar clamp works well, but I wished it didn't have the bold you can tighten or loosen with your hand (that might make it easier for people to steel the holder off your bike, whereas a tool tightening system would provide more security) I like the ease of inserting or removing phone with one hand. If you need to grab your phone while riding, it's doable with one hand. Overall I rate this 5 star. I'm pleased with it.
