A good tripod is always something to have around, but difficult to use when it comes to overhead shots.This device is exactly what I was looking for. It’s fold-able, so easy to carry and store when not in use. But then, it unfolds into a telescopic phone holder, which will allow you to have your phone records your products at the desired height. I have a Samsung S22+ phone and this holder works perfectly at holding the phone without even the need to remove its case.This holder also has two integrated lights, which you can turn ON & OFF, control lights temperature and brightness, which can be controlled either by buttons on the unit itself, or using the included small remote control. The same remote could be linked to your phone, so that you could control it, without the need to actually need to press anything on your phone to take pictures or video.It’s very well balanced, and so far, I didn’t have any tripping over accident. It can also be used as a tripod if needed which is great and gives me the possibility of another tripod I could use for different view angles.Now for some negative that are minimal and don’t affect my five-star rating, but still good to keep in mind though:- Device needs to hold up a big phone without tripping over, and thus is a bit on the heavy side, at almost 2.9lbs.- Unfolding and setting up the device could be a bit tricky to understand at first.- This holder only come with a charging cable. No power block included.

The concept is amazing, I love that it’s so portable and easy to store. However, I think the design was poorly executed. I have a small phone (iPhone 11) and the weight of it without even a case is too much and tips over the stand. The base isn’t heavy enough to keep it from swaying and the top isn’t sturdy enough to hold your phone up to actually film (which defeats the point of the product). I found that if I get a large clamp I can sometimes get it to hold my phone correctly, but the video still sways. Also the lights on it are not very bright, you will absolutely need an external light for videos unless you have *lots* of natural light. Overall, I think this product is HIGHLY OVERPRICED and an ineffective method for filming.Updated Review: the company reached out to me and offered me solutions as well as taking my ideas in order to ensure future products not have the same issues. The media could not be loaded. I bought this for overhead shots but need my shots very straight. Not only is the base too light, the arm cannot hold itself level with the phone in place.I wanted this bcuz it would not need to be clamped to the edge of the table, but lack of balance causing a tilt in the shot is a problem for my needs. Overhead is fine if you don't need a perfectly straight shot. I've tried several things to get it straight...but the slightest touch causes it to move. I would be constantly fiddling with this thing.It cannot hold the phone sideways or at other angles because the gear teeth slip. The video shows the lightest touch causes the teeth to slip, so it will not hold the phone in positions other than overhead and portait with the stand going straight up and down.It does not raise 130cm, it is more like 110cm or around 42inches. The phone clamp is difficult to maneuver in my otterbox because it's so shallow.I did get the clamp model as well (different brand) it's much stronger, does the job and the light is better...it even detaches so you can put it where needed. Its a lot cheaper also, and the phone clamp is easier to maneuver because of its shape. I wanted to love this, but it's going back and I will work with the clamp model.

Took a second to figure out how to open it, which is fine since there were directions. My biggest issue is not being able to tighten the hinge where the stand meets the light/phone holder. It also appears to just be plastic meaning this hinge will wear down over time. Being able to tighten this specific spot would have gotten at least 4 stars.I do love the remote option and the design for hiding it. The collapsible pole is fine and sturdy enough, though the aluminum does feel a bit thin. Battery seems great. I haven’t had it run out on me yet. I do wish there was a third brightness level as an option.Phone holder is great, but you’re limited to what you can do with your phone due to the weak hinge point and the weight oh a phone while in a case. It does do better a better job of holding up my iPhone12 pro, but it does still fall at certain angles.Best used I’ve found is to pull out the smaller extending arm option and then turning the light on the side to help distribute the phones weight due to being top heavy.I love the fact that there are lights on both sides, and that the stand itself is hide-able making it pretty convenient for storage and other uses.
