Seems like in the past year many of our devices (iPhones, Apple Watches) have converted from traditional USB ports to the smaller / newer USB C version. I've had Spigen phone cases in the past and have been very happy with their quality, so I figured I'd give them a try for the charger. I'm glad I did. The charger has 40W of power so it can quickly charger both an iPhone and an Apple Watch at the same time. I use it at home every day, but it is also great for travel as you only take up one outlet to charge both devices. Plus, the prongs fold in so you don't need to worry about damaging them when on the go. I definitely recommend it and plan on getting a second one (or 2 or 3) for my kids to use as well.

This is an excellent GaN charger for low wattage devices such as your iPhone and iPad which is what I use this for. Each device consumes about 20W of power so that two port 40W matches perfectly. However, if you plan on using this to charge your MacBook Pro I wouldn't suggest it and would look for higher wattage starting in the 60W because higher power devices will drain quicker than it would charge. What I love most about this GaN charger is that it is extremely compact, equivalent to those 20W iPhone chargers except that this one is capable of charging two devices simultaneously and the materials used has a nice smooth finish to it. It's not glossy but rather matte finish so it's a good to avoid those oily fingerprints. One thing that I noticed is that if you charge two devices at a time it would get extremely hot even though I expected the GaN charger to be cool to the touch.

Recently got an Apple Watch S7, and iPhone 13.Came from Android so I did not in fact have a drawer full of Apple chargers, contrary to Apples belief.This is a TINY charger. It will charge my Samsung Tablet super fast charging by itself. It will charge my iPhone or iPad Air and Watch at “full speed” together.I have a 30w charger for my Samsung devices that is TRIPLE the size, only has 1 port, and cost more.I don’t know about this thing’s lasting power, but for 25 bucks, it’s great so far. Took my Watch from 14 to 80 percent in half an hour, while my phone went from 50 to 92 in about the same time.Folding prongs will be great when I travel, and compact size means lighter than my other chargers, and I only have to bring ONE charger rather than 3-4 that are the same or triple the footprint.

Faster charging than previously, not that it's a problem with any phones today. They charge in minutes instead of hours. I would have given the device a 5 star for overall charging ability, but one star off for its design, its shape really. It sticks out from the outlet 1 7/8 then add in the cord plug another 1/2 inch and finally the charging multiplex that I plug into the outlet to charge 5 other devices, after all of that it is sticking out 4 1/2 inches. On my kitchen counter. It's a small thing to point out. There are those transformers that come with so many devices now, but they are under my desk in a protected power strip. This is a good device for the price.

So. The product specifically states- charge one device at 30w or two at 20w. Ok. I get that two phones plugged in go slower. But I want to know- does just plugging a cord in (w no device attached) slow down the charging of a single device plugged into the first port? I want to leave two cords in it- one for lightening phone, one for usb c phone- but only have one connected at a time. Will I get 30w?

Scary as h**l to walk in my office this morning and smell something burning - this power adapter!! Luckily my iPad and the charging cord were ok. Nothing else was plugged into the other two ports. I went back and looked at the reviews. It’s shocking how frequently this has occurred. Sort the reviews by date and prepare to be stunned. Class action suit, anyone??

The media could not be loaded. This USB-C brick is truly outstanding. It provides 30W charging through one port or 20W charging per port for two ports! I couldn't find another reputable brand that had a USB-C brick with these specs which is why this was perfect for me. The brick is high quality and feels durable and it fast charges two devices as if I were using two of my 20W bricks!Check out the video to see the difference in size between a non-foldable 20W charger (that is about the same size as the Apple 20W USB-C charger) and this Spigen 40W charger (quite a small difference in size).
