I needed a 1/2" parting tool for my Haas TL 1, this had worked great, no issues whatsoever. Excellent value considering the price and performance. I'll be buying more inserts it seems this tool is going to last a while.

For the price the performance is exceptional! Very satisfied with this parting tool. I am a hobby machinist, not a production facility, so this low-priced tool does just what I need it to do. Would happily purchase it again.

I bought this tool to put an ending notch for threading. Would work well for o-ring notches too. I tested it on some scrap stainless steel I had and it cut great. Even with too much stick out. The supplied carbide cutter worked well. At this price I might get a second as a spare because I have a habit of breaking stuff.

For a home shop, these are just as good as the name brand tools costing three to five times as much. Just use decent quality inserts and you can’t go wrong.

Obviously, you get what you pay for and this is a pretty cheap tool. It's worked well for aluminum so far, though one side of the insert for cutting aluminum broke-off almost immediately. Fortunately this didn't cause any damage to the part I was machining and I was able to finish it by just flipping around the insert.

I am a hobbyist machinist and try to keep my hobby on a budget. I bought this to part off some stainless steel tubing and it worked very well. Nice and heavy tool holder.

The MGMN200 bit is 2.0mm wide. I used it to cut a 2mm o-ring groove and it worked great.

It's not perfect, but oh my God it runs circles around the shars part off tool that was 4x as much money. I really can't believe how much better these work... the groove on the insert looks like a more stable Design vs the shars.
