You will be surprised if you have taught yourself by ear to play these songs. You will probably be 90 percent correct but that other ten percent will bring a smile to your face. I will always recommend Hal Lenard music books, and swear by this series.

Transcriptions with tablature of Black Sabbath's first album
It's a music book - it does what it's supposed to do, to wit, take the guess work out of figuring how to play your favorite songs.

Don't take the titles advice!
This album gets overlooked a bit. It's the last one with Tony Martin. Neil Murray and the late Cozy Powell and on IRS Records. Not the most inspired album they've done. Ernie C from Body Count produced and his colleague Ice-T (who I'm more used to these days on SVU) has a cameo vocal on The Illusion of Power. Sick and Tired might mean how the band may feel by this point yet Martin felt minimal work was done to seal the deal so Tony Iommi could give everyone their cards and ultimately bring back the original band. One review at the time called Forbidden a "by-the-numbers potboiler" and Soundgardens new album sounded more like Sabbath than Sabbath. Even this vintage of Sabbath drives away a lot of the bands around in those days. This and the other IRS albums (Dehumanizer too as EMI were sold) are supposed to be remastered in the foreseeable future. There could even be bonus tracks in the vault. The CD in Japan had one as that's often the case there.
